TERMS AND CONDITIONS: SILVERS CIRCUS
Win one of 70 family passes to the opening night of Silvers Circus at 7.30pm on Wednesday 26 June at the Geelong Showgrounds.
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions of entry.
2. The Promoter is Geelong Advertiser Proprietary Limited of 191-195 Ryrie Street, Geelong VIC 3220 (ABN. 59 004 090 055).
3. The competition commences at 0:01am on 15 June 2013.
4. Entries close at 5.00pm on 19 June 2013.
5. Entry is open to Victorian residents only.
6. The promoter does not accept responsibility for late, lost, misdirected entries or entries not received.

To enter, entrants must colour in an original colouring competition coupon and fill in their name and contact details and deposit it in the official entry box at the offices of the Geelong Advertiser at 191 Ryrie Street, Geelong or mail the entry to Attn: Silver Circus Competition, PO Box 91, Geelong, VIC 3220.8. The colouring competition coupon can be found in the Saturday 15 June 2013 edition of the Geelong Advertiser.
9. Entrants can enter as many times as they like.
10. Facsimiles or photocopies of the colouring competition entry coupon will not be accepted.
11. Entries will be judged by judges appointed by the Geelong Advertiser. The seventy (70) most creative entries will win. Chance plays no part in determining the winners.
12. The promoter’s decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
13. The competition judging will take place on Thursday 20 June 2013 at the offices of the Geelong Advertiser at 191-195 Ryrie Street, Geelong.
14. The winners will be notified by phone or email.
15. If the winners are not contactable by phone or email by 3pm on Friday 22 June 2013, a second round of judging will take place until a winner is contactable.
- Each winner will receive 4 general admission tickets to the opening night of the Silvers Circus show at 7.30pm on Wednesday 26 June 2013 at the Geelong Showgrounds valued at $110.00.
16. Each winner is responsible for all other costs and expenses associated with the prize.
17. Total prize pool value $7,700.
18. Each winner must, on request by the promoter, be able to provide evidence, which to the reasonable satisfaction of the Promoter, demonstrates that the winner is an eligible entrant and has complied with these terms and conditions.
19. Each prize winner must, at the Promoter’s request, participate in all activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of any prize, free of charge, and he or she consents to the Promoter using his or her name and image in promotional material.
20. The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this competition by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the competition or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent or effect of annoying, abusing, threatening or harassing any other person.
21. The Promoter and its agencies associated with this Promotion are not liable and to the extent permitted by law will not be liable for:
a. any lost, misdirected or corrupt emails to or from the Promoter;
b. any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained:
i. in connection with a Participant’s participation in the Promotion; or
ii. relating to the conduct of the Promotion however caused, including incorrect or corrupt data supplied by the Promoter to Participant.
22. If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries.
23. In the event there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into. On all matters relating to the running of the Promotion and the awarding of prize, the Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
24. To the extent permitted by law, each Participant must exclude, release and forever discharge the Promoter and its employees, officers, agents, contractors and related bodies corporate from all liability for claims, loss, damage, cost or expenses (whether arising under statute, from negligence, personal injury, death, property damage, infringement of third party rights or otherwise) arising from or in connection with the participation in the Promotion or otherwise howsoever arising. The Participant must, on request of the Promoter execute any and all documentation (if any) necessary to give effect to this clause.
25. If for any reason the winner does not take an element of a prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. If a prize or any element of a prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute for that prize or element of that prize another item of equal or higher value as determined by the Promoter.
26. Geelong Advertiser Pty Ltd collects and uses your personal information for the purposes of providing the goods or services you have requested, to conduct this competition, and to improve our products and services. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this competition or communicating with entrants. All entries become the property of the Promoter and will be entered into a database. Information in connection with the Participant's participation in the Promotion is used by the Promoter and its agencies associated with this Promotion for conducting this competition, including the determination of winners and distribution of prizes, if any, awarded to a Participant. Participants consent to publishing their name and accumulated winning points in the results section of the Promoter’s web site. It is a condition of entry that Participants consent to these uses and disclosures of their information.
27. We or any of our Australian related companies may be in touch by any means (including by SMS or e-mail) at any time in the future to let you know about goods, services or promotions which may be of interest to you. We may also share your information with other persons or entities who assist us in providing our services, running competitions or with other companies who provide prizes for competitions or reader offers.
