Game of Skill Terms and Conditions for the: Body and Soul ‘‘A 5-Night Health Retreat” 0906 competition

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.

2. Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older. Employees and their immediate families of NewsLifeMedia and its agencies associated with this competition are not eligible to enter this competition.

3. To enter participants must answer the following question in 25 words or less: “Why you would benefit from a five-day health retreat?” To enter, participants must fill in the entry form on bodyandsoul.com.au. Entrants need to register membership to bodyandsoul.com.au to enter. Registration is Free. The cost of accessing the promotional website will be dependent on the entrant’s individual Internet Service Provider.

4. Illegible, incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.

5. The competition commences on Friday 7th June 2013 at 00:01 (AEDT) and concludes on Sunday 7th July 2013 at 23:59 (AEDT) (“Entry Period”). One entry per person will be permitted. The winners will be notified by phone within 7 days of the judging.

6. This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winners. All entries will be judged individually on their merits based on creativity. The best entry as determined by the judges, will win a prize.

7. Entry details remain the property of NewsLifeMedia. The name and details of the winner may be used for promotional purposes by NewsLifeMedia, unless the winner otherwise notifies NewsLifeMedia at the time of accepting the prize.

8. Any entry that is made on behalf of an Entrant without the consent of the Entrant by a third party will be invalid.

10. Total prize value is up to $5,500 (including GST)

11. Entries must be received by body+soul during the Entry Period. Entries received after the end date and time will not count towards the competition. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.

12. Any individual component of the Prize cannot be transferred or be redeemed for cash, regardless of whether the winner uses the component of the Prize, in whole or in part.

13. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions, the winner and their companion are responsible for all other expenses including flights, spending money, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, taxes, energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, and all other ancillary costs.

14. The winner and travelling companion must travel at the same time, must depart from the same capital city and are responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest capital city for flight departure (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth).

15. The Prize must be taken by 12th July 2014 and is subject to hotel availability. Black Out Dates – 29 December 2013 – 5 January 2014. The prize is also not available during peak times such as public holidays and school holidays (if applicable) and cannot be changed once the booking has been made. All components of the prize must be fulfilled at the same time and they can not be split across different time periods.

16. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges. Once accommodation vouchers are issued they are non-changeable.

17. In the event that the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond NewsLifeMedia control, NewsLifeMedia may substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value. Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST). The promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.

18. NewsLifeMedia shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (even if caused by negligence) as a result of entering this competition, accepting and/or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

19. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant\'s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to Promoter.

20. NewsLifeMedia reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of NewsLifeMedia, whose decision is final. NewsLifeMedia reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion.

21. NewsLifeMedia collects your information to include you in this competition and will disclose the information to others who help us run the competition.
