In fact, a recent Harris Rise & Grind coffee survey reveals just how obsessed we are. Australians drink over 86.9 million coffees each week, with 3.4 million people enjoying freshly ground coffee made at home or work.
The study found the average at-home-roast and -ground drinker spends $66 a year to get that perfect cup; while those preferring café coffee spend $597. In total, Australian coffee lovers dish out over $2.9 billion on coffee and 780 million hours drinking coffee every year.
