Adelaide Matters wines of the month are two winter-warming reds from the Barossa Valley

The Sandpiper Shiraz and the Quartage red blend are from the family-owned Thorn Clarke winery which represents six generations of involvement in the iconic Barossa. The Shiraz offers aromas of sweet berry fruits while the palate is full of plums, blackberry and sweet spice. The Quartage is a sassy blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. There are four family-owned vineyards, in different areas of the Barossa, producing all the fruit for Thorn Clarke wines.


Adelaide Matters has four packs, each containing two bottles of Sandpiper Shiraz and one bottle of the Shotfire Ridge Quartage to give away.
