TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Instructions on how to claim and the rewards form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Offer not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
2. Claims are only open to Australian residents. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to claim. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin
3. Claimants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to claim and further, the parent/guardian of the claimant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor submitting a claim in this promotion.
4. Promotion commences on 6/11/13 and ends close of business on 3/12/13 (“Promotional Period”). Claims close 11.59pm AEDST on 9/12/13 or when 10,000 valid claims have been received, whichever is first to occur (“Claims Close Date”).
5. To be eligible to claim, individuals must purchase a minimum of two (2) Lipton Ice Tea products in a single transaction during the Promotional Period (“Qualifying Transaction”).
6. To claim the 2-for-1 movie voucher, individuals must then complete the following steps by the Claims Close Date:
(a) Visit
http://www.liptonicetea.com.au/competitions.html, input the requested details, including their first name, last name, phone number, valid email address, postal address and the last six (6) digits of their purchase receipt number for their Qualifying Transaction;
(b) provide credit card details to purchase one (1) full priced movie voucher for $19; and
(c) submit the fully completed claim form.
7. The first 10,000 valid claims received will each be awarded two (2) movie vouchers, as specified below:
(a) Successful claimants from NSW, ACT, QLD, SA, WA and NT will be sent two (2) x Events eSaver vouchers, to the email address provided on the claim form.
(b) Successful claimants from VIC and TAS will be sent two (2) x Village Screen Saver vouchers to the postal address provided on the claim form.
8. Only Visa and MasterCard payments will be accepted.
9. Village Screen Saver voucher conditions:
Screen Savers are sold at a discount and as such conditions apply.
Screen Savers are not valid for use from 5pm on Saturdays.
Screen Savers expire 6 months from date of purchase.
Screen Savers entitle the holder to one (1) Adult or Student admission to any standard session at Event, Greater Union, Birch Carroll & Coyle or Village Cinemas.

Event, Greater Union and Birch Carroll & Coyle Cinemas may subject gift vouchers to verification and security checks in its absolute discretion.
Event, Greater Union and Birch Carroll & Coyle Cinemas reserves the right to cancel any Gift Voucher, or the Gift Voucher scheme, for any reason at any time without notice. In these circumstances Event, Greater Union and Birch Carroll & Coyle Cinemas may either provide a refund or a replacement Gift Voucher of equivalent value unless it reasonably suspects fraud in relation to a Gift Voucher.
Event, Greater Union and Birch Carroll & Coyle Cinemas reserve the right to change any terms that apply to the voucher at any time.
10. Events eSaver voucher conditions:
Purchaser must ensure all Junk and Spam folders are checked for eVoucher delivery.
eVoucher is not valid for use on Saturdays from 5pm.
eVoucher is only valid for use at Event, Greater Union or Birch Carroll & Coyle cinema session.
eVoucher is not available for use at Loganholme, Moonlight Cinema or Village Cinemas.
eVoucher is valid for 1 x Adult or Student admission to a standard movie session.
eVouchers are valid for 6 months from date of purchase.
The onus is on the holder to use the eVoucher on or before the specified expiry date. After this period the barcode becomes void and cannot be used.
Purchaser must book their seats online at
www.eventcinemas.com.au. Booking fees apply or take a printed copy of the emailed eVoucher to, or display emailed eVoucher on their smart phone at cinema box office.
Once the barcode has been used it becomes void. Barcodes cannot be used more than once.
Treat the eVoucher barcode and PIN details like you would cash.
Surcharges apply to upgrade the cinema experience to Vmax and 3D and must be paid at the same time as redeeming the eVoucher.

11. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims and claimants (including a claimant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any claimant who submits a claim that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the claim process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
12. Incomplete or indecipherable claims will be deemed invalid.
13. Multiple claims permitted per person, subject to the following:
(a) Only one (1) claim permitted per person per day;
(b) Limit one (1) claim permitted per Qualifying Transaction, regardless of the number of Lipton Ice Tea products in excess of two (2) purchased within the transaction;
(c) Each claim must be submitted separately and in accordance the entry requirements; and
(d) Offer is strictly limited to the first 10,000 valid claims received.
14. Claimants must retain either their original or a copy of their purchase receipt(s) for all claims as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all claims when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of a claimant’s claims and forfeiture of any right to a reward. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the Promotional Period but prior to claim.
15. If there is a dispute as to the identity of a claimant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the claimant.
16. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. The reward is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual reward and service providers.
18. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming a movie voucher are not included. Redemption of a movie voucher is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the movie voucher.
19. If for any reason a/the claimant does not take a reward by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the reward will be forfeited.
20. If any reward is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the reward with a reward to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
21. Rewards, or any unused portion of a reward, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
22. Total reward pool is valued at $190,000.
23. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any claimant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
24. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the claimant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
25. The use of any automated software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows a claimant to automatically claim repeatedly is prohibited and will render all claims submitted by that claimant invalid.
26. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
27. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in reward value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a claimant; or (f) use of the reward.
28. All claims and any copyright subsisting in the claims become and remain the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects eligible claimants’ personal information to include eligible claimants in the promotion and where appropriate provide rewards. If the personal information requested is not provided, the eligible claimant may not participate in the promotion. By participating in the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each eligible claimant also agrees that a further primary purpose for collection of eligible claimants’ personal information by the Promoter is to enable the Promoter to use the information to assist the Promoter in improving goods and services and to contact eligible claimants in the future with information on special offers or provide eligible claimants with marketing materials via any medium including mail, telephone and commercial electronic messages (SMS Short Message Service), MMS (Multimedia Message Service), IM (Instant Messaging) and email or any other form of electronic, emerging, digital or conventional communications channel whether existing now or in the future. The Promoter may share information with its Australian related companies or promotional partners who may contact eligible claimants with special offers in this way. By entering the promotion, each eligible claimant agrees that the Promoter may use eligible claimants’ personal information in this manner. Each eligible claimant also agrees that the Promoter may provide these details to Australian regulatory authorities, if requested.
