Entry is open to residents of Australia who complete the PURINA Pet Survey and have a valid email address (“Eligible Entrant”). Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this competition and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
The promotion commences at 9am Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time (“AEDST”) on Friday 1 November 2013 & closes at 5pm AEDST on Monday 3 February 2014 (“Promotion Period”). Entries in each month’s prize draw will close at 5pm AEDST on the last day of November 2013, December 2013 and January 2014.

www.purina.com.au/pet-care-survey to complete the PURINA PetCare Pet Survey, including adding or updating your contact details, then follow the prompts to submit your entry.
Eligible Entrants may get an entry in the prize draw a maximum of once per calendar month, (ie. a limit of 3 entries during the entire Promotion Period), by completing the survey again and confirming or updating their contact details.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and reserves the right to disqualify any individual entrant or group of entrants for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these conditions of entry.
All valid entries received during the Promotion Period will be entered in the next occurring monthly prize draw and all non-winning entries will roll into any remaining monthly prize draws. Entry in each the monthly prize draw will close on the last day of the month at 5pm AEDST.
The following prizes will be awarded each month:
a. Major Prize is a black iPad mini 16GB valued at $369 recommended retail price (“RRP”). There is a major prize to be won each month, (total of 3 major prizes). (Note: Apple is not a participant in, or a sponsor of this promotion.)
b. Minor Prize is a $50 Gift Card Planet gift card which will be subject to the issuer’s terms which can be read at
www.giftcardplanet.com.au. There are 10 minor prizes to be won each month (total of 30 minor prizes).
A monthly prize draw for entries received in the previous month will be conducted at 9:30am at Unit 6, 106 Old Pittwater Road, Brookvale NSW 2100. The monthly prize draws will occur on the following dates: Monday 2 December 2013, Monday 6 January 2014 and Tuesday 4 February 2014, (total of 3 monthly prize draws). The first valid entry drawn each month will each win a Major prize and the next 10 valid entries drawn each month will each win a Minor prize.
All prize winners will be notified in writing within 48 hours of the prize draw and the winners’ names and postcodes will appear at
www.purina.com.au/past-winners within 5 days of that month’s prize draw. Each month’s major prize winner’s name and postcode will be published in The Australian on the following dates: 6 December 2013; 10 January 2014; 7 February 2014.
Total prize pool is valued at $2,607 RRP.
Prizes are not transferable & cannot be taken as cash.
Prize values are correct at time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of any prize.
The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

The Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw at the same time and place as the original prize draws on Monday 2 June 2014 to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date subject to any written directions given by a relevant lotteries or gaming authority. The first valid entry drawn will win the unclaimed prize of the highest value and the draw will continue awarding unclaimed prizes in descending order of value until all unclaimed prizes have been distributed. Any winner in such a prize draw will be notified in writing and their name and postcode will appear at
www.purina.com.au/past-winners by Friday 6 June 2014. If required, the name and postcode of any winner of an unclaimed major prize will also be published in The Australian on that date.
Each winner should look to the manufacturer of products and provider or services awarded as prizes for all warranties. However, these terms and conditions do not exclude or limit the application of any statutory provision (including a provision of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) where to do so would contravene that statute or cause any part of these terms and conditions to be void.
Subject to the approval process required by any relevant gaming or lotteries authority, in the event that any prize item is unavailable despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure within Australia, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a different prize item of equal or greater value.
Prizes will only be delivered in Australia and each winner should allow 28 days from the prize draw for delivery of their prize.
If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, whether caused by infection by computer virus, mobile phone failure, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
Entries are deemed to be received upon completion of the PURINA Pet Survey and receipt into the Promoter’s database. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information caused by an entrant or occurring during transmission. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, telephone or computer network, or lines, servers, or telephone or internet providers, traffic congestion on any phone or computer network, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s handset or computer related to or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communication or of any materials in this Promotion.
