You won’t want to step foot in the outback again when director Greg McLean’s Wolf Creek 2 comes out on February 20. Retaining the original gritty tone of 2005’s Wolf Creek, this film focuses loosely on another true case in Australia, once again using the character of crazed pig-shooter Mick Taylor (John Jarratt).
Seeking an authentic Australian getaway, backpackers Rutger, Katarina and Paul visit the notorious Wolf Creek Crater and their holiday soon becomes a nightmare as Mick pursues them across the outback in a bid to drag them back to his lair.
The story follows the cunning tactics of the last man standing to escape Mick’s hold.
