Photo competition- what moves you in regional Victoria?



For your chance to win a $500 RACV voucher and feature in RACV’s Growing Pains in regional Victoria report, send us your best photos of transport in regional Victoria. Whether it’s on road, by public transport, on a bicycle or on foot- we want to see who or what gets you around in regional Victoria. The photo can be of something you love about transport or something that needs fixing, tell us your story through your entry.

RACV is investigating the road, public transport, cycling and walking projects needed now and into the future for regional Victoria. The transport blueprint, titled Growing Pains in regional Victoria, will be released in 2014, more information about the project is available at the RACV growing pains website. We are asking members to submit their photos, as we believe your picture could tell a thousand words about transport in regional Victoria.

Three RACV judges will select the finalists based on creativity, style and the ability of the photo to represent transport in regional Victoria.We will then ask the RACV community to vote, and the most popular photo will win a $500 RACV voucher, which may be published in RACV’s ‘Growing Pains in regional Victoria’ report and website.

The photos can be taken on any device, however must be high resolution, at least 300dpi and less than 8MB. Post your photos to RACV Regional Photo Competition, Public Policy, RACV, 550 Princes Highway, Noble Park, 3174 or email them to publicpolicyadmin@racv.com.au. Your entry must include your name, member number, contact details and a brief description (25 words or less) about where the photo was taken. The competition closes on the 30th of January, finalists will be notified by the 17th of February. 



SAFETY NOTICE: Please ensure your photos are taken only when and where it is safe and legal to do so.  When taking photos, please ensure you are safely parked and/or standing on a footpath or area well clear of any type of traffic (e.g. motor vehicles, trains, bicycles, pedestrians).  Do not take photos while operating a vehicle.

Terms and conditions apply. Total prize pool package: $500. Photos have to be high resolution- no less than 300 dpi. No RACV employees or their families can enter. The finalists will be drawn at 550 Princes Highway, Noble Park North, VIC, 3174 by the 14th of February and will be notified by phone and/or email.
