THE MOVIE
From Academy Award winning director Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind), set against the golden age of Formula 1 racing, Rush portrays the fast paced, action packed true story of one of the greatest rivalries the sport has ever witnessed, between drivers James Hunt versus Niki Lauda, and their illustrious Formula 1 racing teams, McLaren and Ferrari.
The exhilarating action thriller stars Chris Hemsworth, Daniel Brühl and Olivia Wilde. Privileged, charismatic and handsome English playboy, James Hunt (Hemsworth) could not be more different from his reserved and methodical opponent, Austrian born Niki Lauda (Brühl). Rush follows their chequered personal lives both on and off the track and charts their rivalry from its inception in Formula 3, where they competed intensely against each other until Lauda’s superior business acumen and surgeon-like precision propelled him to Formula 1 – eventually landing him the number one spot at Ferrari.
However, it was not long before unruly golden boy James Hunt also fought his way into Formula 1 and into the hearts of a nation, dramatically seizing the world championship from Lauda and proving to the critics and, more importantly himself, that there was real substance beneath his stylish exterior. Polar opposites pitted against each other in the most dangerous sport in the world, Hunt and Lauda pushed each other to breaking point while the raw brutality and patchy safety of F1 enacted a terrible price.

Entrants must provide their full postal address information and an answer to the question, “What is the best adrenaline rush you have ever had and why?”, in 25 words or less. This is a Game of Skill which contains no element of chance, and which will be judged by members of the Australian Penthouse staff on 18/02/14. Five winners will receive one DVD copy of Rush, as detailed above. Prizes will be mailed to winners at address nominated in their entries. The promoters take no responsibility for lost or misdirected entries, and no correspondence will be entered into.
