Terms and Conditions
Madman Entertainment’s “The Raid 2” #TheBestMove Competition (“Competition”) is subject to the following terms and conditions, as well as the information Madman publishes on how to enter ("Terms"). Please read these Terms before entering the Competition. If you participate in the Competition you will be deemed to have agreed to and accepted the Terms.
1. Eligibility Entry is open to all residents of Australia and New Zealand who are 18 years of age or over, excluding employees and their immediate families of Madman Entertainment Pty Ltd (“Madman”) and their associated agencies and related bodies corporate (“Eligible Entrant”).
2. Start and end dates for the Competition The Competition commences on February 28, 2014 at 12:00 (AEST) and concludes on April 5, 2014 at 12:00 (AEST) (“Competition Period”). Entries must be received during the Competition Period. The time of entry will, in each case, be the time the video is posted by the Eligible Entrant.
3. The Competition The Competition will be advertised and promoted on:

www.twitter.com/madmannz (together, the “Madman Webpages”).
4. Your entry To enter, you must upload a video (no more than 15 seconds in length) of your best martial arts moves to YouTube or Instagram and submit your entry by posting a link to the video with the hashtag #TheBestMove to either Facebook.com/madmanfilms and like the page, Twitter by tagging and following @madmanfilms or on Instgram by tagging and following @madmanent.
IT IS A STRICT CONDITION OF ENTRY THAT YOUR VIDEO FEATURES ONLY YOU You may use props, but no other living being, human or animal, can be featured in your video or subjected to your martial arts moves. You choose to participate in this Competition at your own risk and you cannot hold Madman or its related bodies corporate liable for any injury, damages, costs, expenses or loss you incur from partaking in the Competition.
5. How many times can you enter? There is no limit to entries as long as you don’t re-enter with the same video.
6. Judging At the end of the Competition Period, your entry will be judged by a judging panel with input from Gareth Evans, the Writer and Director of The Raid 2. The judging panel resides at Building 1, Level 1, 21-31 Goodwood Street, Richmond, Victoria 3121 Australia. Each entry will be judged individually on its merits and the winner will be decided based on the skill, originality and/or creativity shown in each video. The winner of the Competition will be notified on Facebook / Instagram / Twitter on April 11, or at such time as notified by Madman on the Madman Webpages. By entering this Competition, you agree to your name being published on the Madman Webpages.
7. Competition prize pack The winner of the Competition will be awarded the following great prize pack: a Sony PlayStation 4 (valued at $548); Call of Duty: Ghosts (valued at $89); and a Madman action DVD pack (valued $124.75) containing The Raid, Merantau, and Ong Bak 1-3.
8. Change of contact details If your details change at any time between the date you enter the Competition and the date on which the winner is announced, please notify Madman. Madman will not be responsible for any entries or prizes that cannot be submitted or delivered because your details have changed. In the event of any uncertainty as to the claim to a prize or the identity of the winner, the prize will be re-awarded to an alternative winner, or be deemed forfeited, at Madman’s sole discretion.
9. When will an entry be invalid or rejected? Entries into the Competition may be invalid or Madman may reject entries if Madman reasonably forms the opinion that an entry is invalidated for any reason, including but not limited to: (a) the entry being made using automated entry means or by use of a computer entry service; (b) the entry being late, incomplete; incorrect or incomprehensible, including if an entrant provides the wrong contact details; (c) the entry being fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Competition and/or Madman; (d) the entry being unlawful, offensive, or containing profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements, capable of encouraging conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, capable of giving rise to a civil liability or made on behalf of an Eligible Entrant by a third party or otherwise by proxy; (e) the Eligible Entrant failing to establish their entitlement to enter the Competition to Madman’s satisfaction; or (f) the entry being submitted in a manner that is not accordance with these Terms. Madman reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Eligible Entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any Eligible Entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms or who tampers with the entry process. The cost of accessing the Madman Webpages and entering the Competition will be borne by the Eligible Entrant.
10. Other terms If you are the winner of the Competition, Madman reserves the right to substitute the prize pack for a prize of equal or greater value. Madman and its related bodies corporate are not responsible or liable for any loss or damages incurred by any party if any prize is unavailable. The prize pack will be awarded to the person named in the entry, however, in the event of a dispute between the entrant and the account holder, the prize pack will be awarded to the account holder of the entry mechanism used to submit their entry (i.e. the Instagram, Twitter or Facebook account holder). Once any prize pack has left Madman’s premises, Madman, its related bodies corporate and any other entities associated with the Competition are not liable or responsible for any delay in delivery, loss or damage to the prize pack. Madman may ask you to provide proof of your age, identity and residency, and to sign any required documentation including release forms as a condition of claiming the prize pack and it is a condition of accepting the prize pack that the winner complies with all the conditions of use of the prize pack and the prize supplier’s requirements. In consideration for Madman awarding the prize pack to the winner, the winner hereby permits Madman to use the winner’s video submitted to the Competition in connection with Madman and the advertising or marketing of The Raid 2, in any media whatsoever throughout Australia and New Zealand and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use. You must ensure that your entries are received by Madman during the Competition Period. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by Madman, not time of transmission by the Eligible Entrant. Madman and its related bodies corporate are not responsible for any entries not received or for any delays in the delivery of any entries. Errors and omissions may be accepted at Madman’s discretion. Failure by Madman to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. All Eligible Entrants unconditionally and irrevocably release and discharge YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook from any and all liability in relation to this Competition. If for any reason, the Competition is not capable of running as planned, including, without limitation, due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Madman and its related bodies corporate, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, Madman reserves the right in its sole discretion take any action that may be available, including to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition and/or disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Madman, including its related bodies corporate, exclude all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition, including, but not limited to: (a) any technical difficulties, technical error or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Madman’s control); (b) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, delay, defect, theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; any entry or prize pack claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by Madman) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Madman; (c) any variation in the value of the prize pack to that stated in these Terms; or (d) use of a prize in the prize pack. Madman and its related bodies corporate do not advocate or condone violence towards other living beings, or another person’s property, in any way. Collection of your personal information All entries become the property of Madman and each Eligible Entrant permits Madman to use their video submitted to the Competition in connection with Madman and the advertising or marketing of The Raid 2, in any media whatsoever throughout Australia and New Zealand and the Eligible Entrant will not be entitled to any fee for such use. Madman may only collect and use your personal information to enable it to administer this Competition. Your personal information may also be disclosed to third parties including marketing and communications agencies in order to conduct this Competition.
