The Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) is hosting the Santos GLNG Project on Sunday 16 March, with attractions to satisfy both children and parents. For a full program of family-friendly activities, GoMA is offering half price tickets for the day, at $20.
Tickets include a viewing of the ‘Cai Guo-Qiang: Falling Back to Earth exhibition, which has been hailed as one of GoMA’s most dramatic installations.
From 10am to 5pm, there will be craft-making in the Children’s Art Centre, where kids can construct their own miniature exhibitions.
There will also be screening of animated films, live music entertainment, ice-cream giveaways, face painting and prizes.
While the kids are occupied, parents are invited to relax with free cold-pressed Tie Guan Yin tea in the exhibition’s pavilion.
Tie Guan Yin is a traditional Chinese tea variety, sourced from the hometown of the exhibition’s artist, Cai Guo-Qiang.
For a family trip in the city, it is set to be an enjoyable day for all ages, while still easy on the wallet.
Bmag also has a family pass to giveaway to a lucky reader.
