2. Entries and information on prizes and how to enter form part of these terms and conditions (“Terms”). Entries not completed in accordance with these Terms are ineligible. Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
3. The competition is open to entrants who are current RACQ members at the time the competition is drawn.
4. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoters and related entities of the Promoters are ineligible to enter.
5. The competition commences on 20/03/2014 and closes at 11:59pm on 25/03/2014. The competition will be drawn at 9am on 26/03/2014 at Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Corner of Grey and Melbourne Streets, South Bank, Brisbane, Queensland.
6. There will be five prize winners in this competition that will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received. The Promoters’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. Entry is by fully completing the competition entry form on the QPAC website and entrants are required to provide their full name, email address and residential address.
8. Only one entry per entrant is permitted and only one prize will be awarded to each of the five prize winners.
9. The five prizes winners will each receive a double pass (two tickets) to The Unusualist performance at 7.30pm on Wednesday, 30 April 2014 at the Cremorne Theatre, QPAC, corner Grey and Melbourne Streets, South Bank, Brisbane, Queensland. Each double pass prize is valued at $118.00. The total prize value of the five prizes is $590.00. Any change in the value of the prize between the publishing date and the date that the prize is claimed is not the responsibility of the Promoters.
10. The prizes must be taken and collected by the prize winners from the QPAC Box Office before the performance at 7.30pm on Wednesday, 30 April 2014 at the Cremorne Theatre, QPAC, corner Grey and Melbourne Streets, South Bank, Brisbane, Queensland. The prize winners will be expected to produce photo identification as proof of identity.
11. The prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
12. Travel, insurance, spending money and all other ancillary costs are the winners’ responsibility.
13. The winners will be notified by email on the email address provided by the winners when they entered the competition. The competition result will also be published at racq.com/competitions. The prizes will be available for collection from the QPAC Box Office from 6.30pm on the day of the performance on 30 April 2014. The winners will be required to produce photo identification as proof of identity.
14. If a competition winner is unable to be contacted within one week of the draw, a redraw will occur. In the event that a redraw is required it will be held at 9am on 02/04/2014 at Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Corner of Grey and Melbourne Streets, South Bank, Brisbane, Queensland and the redraw winners will be notified by email using the email address provided when the redraw winners entered the competition.
15. All entries become the property of the Promoters. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
16. The information that entrants provide will be used by the Promoter RACQ for the purpose of conducting the competition, and to periodically keep entrants informed about the goods and services provided by the Promoter, related entities and its service providers. By entering this competition entrants consent to the use of their contact details for the purposes described in this clause. The Promoter RACQ may use or disclose entrants’ personal information to related entities or other appropriate third parties in accordance with its privacy policy available on its Internet site at

17. If for any reason this competition is not capable of being conducted by the Promoters as intended, whether because of computer virus, mobile phone failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters which in the Promoters’ opinion affects the administration of the competition, security, fairness or integrity, the Promoters may in their sole discretion, cancel, modify or suspend the competition, subject to the approval of the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation in Queensland as may be required.
18. The Promoters will not be liable for any loss or damage or for any personal injury sustained as a result of taking the prizes or entering into this competition. The Promoters make no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability or any goods or services offered as prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoters are not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoters or their employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods and services by any person to the prize winners and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the prize winners.
