The finest collection of Italian masterpieces ever to come to Australia will open at the National Gallery of Victoria on 16 May.
This exclusive Melbourne Winter Masterpieces Exhibition has been drawn from one of the world’s most celebrated collections, Museo del Prado, Madrid, and will showcase more than 100 works comprising 70 paintings, some measuring over three metres, alongside more than 30 superb drawings – the largest number of Italian works the Museo del Prado has ever loaned to one exhibition.
The exhibition will be shown at the NGV International, St Kilda Rd from 16 May until 31 August.
RACV members have the chance to win one of five double passes ($52) to the Melbourne Winter Masterpieces Exhibition of Italian Masterpieces from Spain’s Royal Court, Museo del Prado, plus a two-course lunch for two ($90) at Persimmon Restaurant. Competition closes 11.59pm, Thursday 1 May 2014.

Terms and conditions apply. Total prize package: $710. The passes are for the Italian Masterpieces exhibition from 16 May to 31 August, depending on availability. No RACV employees or their families can enter. Competition is restricted to one entry per RACV member. The winners will be drawn on Friday 2 May at 9.30am at 550 Princes Hwy, Noble Park North, and will be notified by email and/or phone. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winter Masterpieces Exhibition
1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of the conditions of entry.
2. Any RACV member who completes an online entry form from royalauto.com.au during the Promotion Period will be entered in the draw. Competition commences 8 April 2014 and closes 11:59pm 1 May (the Promotion Period).
3. Competition entry is restricted to one entry per person. Additional entries will result in entrant being disqualified from the competition.
4. This competition is won by chance and entrants are not judged on the quality of their entry.
5. All employees of the promoter or its related bodies corporate and the immediate families of such employees are ineligible to enter. The competition is restricted to residents of the State of Victoria.
6. Any eligible RACV member can enter the competition once only.
7. The draw will take place at 9.30am on Friday, 2 May at 550 Princes Hwy, Noble Park North, Victoria.
8. Five double passes to the Winter Masterpieces Exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria, St Kilda Rd, each valued at $52 and lunch for two ($90) at Persimmon Restaurant with the total prize pool worth $710.
9. The first 5 valid entries drawn will win a prize.
10. Valid for the Melbourne Winter Masterpieces Exhibition – Italian Masterpieces from Spain’s Royal Court, Museo del Prado from 16 May – 31 August.
11. The winners will be notified by email and/or telephone, and the winners’ details will be published on royalauto.com.au from 5 May.
12. Each prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or taken as cash.
13. The promoter’s decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

15. The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw if necessary on 2 June 2014 at 11am in order to distribute any prize if unclaimed by that date.
16. RACV may substitute or change the supplier of the prize or substitute prizes with cheques to the cash value of prizes at its absolute discretion.
17. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate. The promoter is not liable for any loss or damage, personal injury or death relating to acceptance and use of prizes by winners.
18. The personal information submitted in an entry is collected by the Promoter and will be used for the purpose of conducting the promotion. Personal information supplied by entrants may be provided to related bodies corporate or agencies of the Promoter and third parties involved in promoting or conducting the promotion for the purposes of conducting the promotion and future marketing and publicity communications. Entrants’ details may also be used for future promotions carried out by the promoter. Entrants can request not to receive information about future promotions by calling 13 RACV (13 7228).
