GLITZ, glamour and an unforgettable soundtrack are just a few of the things in store for audiences heading to the mash-up musical Queens of the Outback.
As the name suggests, Queens of the Outback features drag queens performing in the outback of Australia.
The storyline is simple but absorbing: three drag queens pack up their wares to head across the outback to perform at the 16th birthday party of one of their daughters.
There are some hilarious experiences along the way including a temporary imprisonment, breakdowns, a little love story and many a minibar to be emptied.
It is a show jam-packed with fishnets, feathers, sequins and all things fabulous.
Video footage helps set the scene as the queens hit the outback.
Queens of the Outback will be showing at Wests New Lambton on Sunday, July 20.
Tickets, available from ProTicket or by phoning 4935 1200, cost $39 for club members and $44 for non-members.
