Win a Double Pass to a Preview Screening of ‘Words and Pictures’ (Brisbane, Melbourne and Hobart), courtesy of Umbrella Entertainment

…a new romantic drama from director Fred Schepisi starring Clive Owen and Juliette Binoche.

Veteran Australian director Fred Schepisi (The Devil's Playground, The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith, Roxanne) returns with a delightful romantic drama, which sees Clive Owen and Juliette Binoche square off, with sparks ensuing. Owen plays Jack Marcus, a wordsmith who drinks too much and suffers from writers’ block; while Binoche plays Dina Delsanto, an artist with arthritis who is physically unable to paint. At the elite school where they teach, the two begin a war over which is more powerful: the word or the picture. The school and their students are invigorated by this fun intellectual exercise, enthusiastically taking sides. But there is more at stake, and the two damaged artists must overcome their demons before things can truly be settled.

For your chance to win one of 20 double pass to a preview screening of this film in Brisbane, Melbourne and Hobart accompanied by a special Q&A with Mr. Schepisi, simply let us know which you find more powerful – the word or the picture, and why.

Email filmink@filmink.com.au with your answer. Please include your full name, and which city screening you’d like to attend.

The preview screenings we’re giving away tickets for are as follows:

Monday, July 8, 6.45pm – The Barracks in Brisbane

Thursday, July 10, 6.45pm – Rivoli Cinemas in Melbourne

Monday, July 14, 6.45pm, State Cinema in Hobart
