The Bleu Blanc Rouge French Festival will burst onto Sydney’s Circular Quay foreshore at Customs House and adjoining Customs House Square, for three days from Friday 11 July to Sunday 13 July to celebrate Bastille Day.
The dazzling outdoor festival is unique offering and a vibrant salute to France’s National Day – Le quatorze juillet (14th of July), providing 3 live concerts, delicious French food, cooking masterclasses, artist performances, cabaret and an outdoor film inspired by French style and esprit.
Renowned chef Emmanuel Mollois will be hosting cooking classes during the event. Having been inspired to cook from a young age he's become one of the top pastry chefs and is now head pastry chef at the Loose Box in Mundaring.
During the class, participants will learn how to prepare the forgotten recipe of French Emperor Napoleon Favorite Cake, ancestor of the Vanilla Sliced cake which is followed by a degustation with a glass of French wine.
