Time Out Sydney’s annual Food Award nominees were revealed at an industry launch party at Work In Progress last night. The Awards, which take place on Monday 25 August at Uccello, recognise the best food offerings in the city.
The cream of Sydney’s dining scene will be attending, hoping to win one of just nine awards including Best Bang For Buck, Best New Restaurant, Best Café and Restaurant of the Year. The city’s rising stars are recognised with the Hot Talent award, and for the first time ever the industry’s driving forces will be celebrated with the inaugural Chef of the Year Award.
