Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. This is a promotion by Mirage Marina Pty Ltd, 74 Seaworld Drive Main Beach Queensland 4217. ABN 20 284 229 476. Entry is open to all Australian residents.
Employees and their immediate families of Mirage Marina Pty Ltd and Marina Mirage tenants and staff are not eligible to enter to win.
The competition opens on 1 August 2014 and closes 30 September 2014 at 17:00 AEST. This competition is a game of chance.
Competition entry is limited to one entry per receipt. Entries must be placed in the entry box located on level one at Marina Mirage Gold Coast during the promotional period. Purchases must be made at Marina Mirage stores or restaurants during the promotional period being 1 August 2014 to 30 September 2014. Original receipts only accepted. Prize is not transferable and cannot be taken as cash.
The prize includes two return economy airfares to Paris, a Paris Authentic “Classics” Paris 2 hour tour and Seine Evening River Cruise including dinner as supplied by MDM Travel and Events, and $1,000 in Marina Mirage gift vouchers in $50 denominations that may be used at Marina Mirage stores and restaurants. Vouchers are valid for 12 months and no change will be given. Mirage Marina Pty Ltd accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.
Prize drawn 03/10/14 and the winner will be notified by mail within five days of this date.
The winner should accept the prize within 1 month by a confirmation email or letter; should the winner not accept the prize a new winner will be determined on 10 October 2014 at 14:00 AEST at the same location as the original announcement, the winner will be notified by phone or email before 12 October 2014. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements. This competition may be promoted through various channels including; social media, newspaper, broadcast media, SMS (this list is not exhaustive).
Products included in the promotion cannot be substituted or forfeited for cash. No items are transferrable. The prize offered is for a maximum of two people. The prize includes two return economy flights and taxes with ex Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane or Perth to Paris.
The winner and their companion are responsible for all other expenses including passports, travel to SYD/MEL/BNE/ADL/PER airports, visa applications (if applicable), spending money, drinks, activities, incidentals, energy surcharges, services charges and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is not included, but is highly recommended.
The prize must be booked before 30 June 2015 and no extensions are permitted. The booking must be arranged at least 6 weeks prior to the departure date. Travel must be completed by 30 October 2015.
Flights and tours must be booked with MDM Travel and Events. Where possible MDM Travel and Events will endeavour to fulfil the winner’s requested dates for travel however are subject to availability and is limited to low season. Changes to flight details once booked will incur a change fee, per guest per change, in addition to any charges from the airline. Airline normal terms and conditions of carriage apply. The prize value capped at A$3,000 is based upon the average retail price as at 10 July 2014.
The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not exchangeable for other goods or services and cannot be taken as cash. The prize is not transferable. The prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. However, additional holiday products may be purchased in conjunction with the prize, as the prize winner’s expense. The prize must be redeemed by the winner only. No relative, partner or friend of a winner may claim any part of a prize nor may the winner transfer any part of a prize to any other person. The prize may be used by the winner plus another companion inclusive in their booking. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the prize, including but not limited to, being interviewed and/or photographed as a result of winning and redeeming the prize. The winner will be published on Marina Mirage social media.
The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability, which cannot be excluded by law.
