Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

 

Entry is only open to residents of Australia. Entrants under the age of 18 years must have prior parental or legal guardian consent to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering this promotion. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter.

               

The promotion commences 5:00pm AEDST on 8 September 2014, and closes at 5:00pm, AEDST on 12th October 2014 (“Promotional Period”).

 

To enter, individuals must, visit www.dolly.com.au/win, follow the prompts to promotion entry page, input the requested details including an answer to the question “If you win, where will you use your wireless speaker” in 25 words or less, and submit the fully completed entry form during the Promotional Period. Entrants will be given the opportunity to ‘opt in’ to the DOLLY e-newsletter at the time of submitting their entry.

 

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

 

Incomplete, incomprehensible and indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.

 

Only one (1) entry is permitted per person.

 

If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.

 

The judging will take place on the 13th of October 2014  from 9.00am AEDST at Level 11, 54 Park Street, Sydney. The winners will be notified by mail and telephone using contact details provided in their entry. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners.  Each entry will be individually judged based on originality and the literary and creative merit of the answer provided to the promotional question.

 

The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

 

 

The best six (6) valid entries, as determined by the judges and will be deemed the major prize winners and will receive 1 x Logitech Wireless Mouse M235 and Logitech Wireless Speaker, valued at $89.90.

 

 

Prizes must be taken as offered. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash. Prizes cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer. Prize are valued in Australian dollars. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize values. Prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of their prize.  In the event that a portion of the prize is awarded to the winner in the form of a voucher / ticket / pass/ letter, redemption of that portion of the prize will be subject to the terms and conditions stipulated on the voucher / ticket / pass/ letter. The Promoter will not be liable for any voucher / ticket / pass/ letter that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way. Redemption of the prize subject to the standard terms and conditions and guidelines of the concert venue and the activity service provider. Failure to follow the standard rules and guidelines presented will result in the winner forfeiting their right to participate in the said activity.

 

 

In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.

 

In the event that a prize is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize, in its absolute discretion, with an alternative prize to the same and equal recommended retail value and/or specification.

 

If a medical circumstance in some way restricts an entrant’s ability to enter the promotion through the required mechanic, the Promoter may provide alternate entry mechanisms, however, an entrant must briefly state their circumstances upon entry if utilising such alternate entry mechanisms.

 

As a condition of entering this promotion, each entrant licenses the Promoter to use their entry in any media for an unlimited period for any reason including but not limited to future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes. Each entrant warrants to the Promoter that each entry submitted is an original literary work of the entrant that does not infringe the rights of any third party.  Entrants agree to indemnify the Promoter against all costs and claims by third parties arising from a breach of this warranty.  Entrants consent to any use of their entry which may otherwise infringe their moral rights pursuant to the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).

 

If an entrant is selected as a winning entry, validation of the entrant’s circumstances and the validity of their entry will be undertaken by the Promoter. Method of validation (without limitation) will be determined by the Promoter in its complete discretion. If an entry is deemed to be a winner, the winner will be notified as per the terms and conditions herein. In the event that the Promoter requests the entrant to sign any legal documents relating to the verification of their medical circumstance, the legal documents will take the form determined by the Promoter. It is a condition of accepting the prize the winner sign any such legal documentation.

If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

 

The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this information.
