Robert Zemeckis' Academy Award Best Picture-winning FOREST GUMP gets the IMAX treatment for an exclusive limited IMAX re-release coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the film's original theatrical release in 1994.
Originally released in theatres by Paramount Pictures, Forrest Gump stars Hanks in the title role, a man who -- despite his sub-normal IQ -- led an extraordinary life, with a ringside seat to many of the most memorable events of the second half of the 20th century. The film went on to win six Academy Awards including Best Actor (Tom Hanks) and Best Director and grossed more than $675 million at the global box office.
