Win a Trip to London - Terms and Conditions
Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of the conditions of entry. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Entry is open to those 18 years or older, who purchase an item advertised in the Chemsave or Chemsave Discount Max October 2014 catalogues (excluding prescriptions) or purchase a Chemsave Pharmacist Formula branded product between 1st October 2014 and 31st October 2014, who receive an official entry form from a participating pharmacy and return a completed entry form to a participating pharmacy prior to the closing date.
Closing date for entry is 1st November 2014. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
Only one entry per person per product purchased is permitted.
Employees of Chemsave Pty Ltd and Chemsave member pharmacies or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.
This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on creative merit. There can only be one winner. Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winning entry, as determined by the judges, will win the prize of two return business class flights to London England or four return economy class flights to London England and $5,000 cash for spending money and accommodation. Total prize is valued at up to $25,000. The prize is not exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize.
The Flights portion of the prize is awarded under these terms and conditions:
Chemsave Pty Ltd will handle all bookings.
The flights will be 2 business class flights from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth or Darwin to London England and return or 4 economy class flights from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth or Darwin to London England and return. The choice to select 2 business class or 4 economy class flights as part of the prize will be the decision of the winner,
Flights must be booked within 3 months of notification of winning the prize or the prize will be cancelled.
Both flights out and flights back must be within 10 months of the date of booking.
Once booked, flights, including passengers, cannot be changed or cancelled.
All flights are operated by Malaysia Airlines or its affiliates, and hence are via Kuala Lumpur.
Due to flight scheduling, a stopover in Kuala Lumpur, at your expense, may be required; otherwise a stopover is not allowed.
All flights are governed by the rules and regulations of Malaysia Airlines and its affiliates.
All flight bookings are subject to availability at base rates through Malaysia Airlines Enrich.
The winner and any travelling companions must have and maintain valid passports endorsed with all relevant visas and with expiry dates no less than six months following the proposed dates of travel or such other duration as may be required by any relevant regulation. These passports, and their holders, must not be subject to any restrictions on their rights to travel to and from the applicable country or countries. Passport control and in-country authorities may reserve the right to refuse entry to prize winner’s and/or their travelling companions. We shall not be responsible for ensuring your ability to travel to your holiday destination nor for any additional costs incurred should you be refused entry.
The Cash for Accommodation and Spending Money portion of the prize is awarded under these conditions:
$5000 cash for accommodation and spending money will be transferred to the winner’s nominated Australian bank account in Australian dollars.
It will be the winner’s responsibility to exchange this spending money into local currency for use while in London England.
It will be the winner’s responsibility to book accommodation
All unused spending money will remain in your procession for any use you desire.
Prize winner’s and their travelling companions must comply with the terms and limitations of airlines, other transport providers, and the venues involved in the provision of any holiday prize, including any insurance policy relating to the holiday. In particular, entrants must comply with all health and safety guidelines and instructions and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Insurance is not provided as part of any holiday prize. It will be the winner’s and their travelling companion's responsibility to take out at their own cost all relevant insurance (including but not limited to health and travel insurance, insurance for theft, loss and damage to property) which may be required or prudent to be taken. All insurance, spending money and other expenses, unless otherwise stated, are costs for the prize winner and are not provided as part of any holiday prize.
The winner will be notified by phone, email and/or letter within 30 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. Once contacted, the winner’s name, suburb and state of residence will be published on the Chemsave website.
The promotion shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) of personal injury which is suffered or sustained as a result of taking the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
The promoter will not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage suffered by any prize winner or their travelling companion should any prize winner or their travelling companion not redeem a holiday prize as a result of any Government travel warning or advisory applicable to the destination country and/or countries or for any other failure on their part to travel. In particular, we shall have no obligation to substitute any alternative prize, cash equivalent or other compensation where a prize winner and/or their travelling companion fail to redeem a holiday prize for any reason.
The participating pharmacy collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. The personal information will only be used for the purpose of conducting the promotion.
The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control.
