TERMS AND CONDITIONS “Roll on Thursday” PROMOTION
1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry to this game of skill “Roll on Thursday” promotion (“Promotion”). Entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. The Promoter is The Star Pty Limited, 80 Pyrmont Street, Pyrmont, NSW, 2009 (ABN 25 060 510 410).
3. The “Roll on Thursday” promotion (“Promotion”) commences at 5pm on Thursday 13 November 2014 and ends at 11.00pm on Thursday 11 December 2014.
4. Participation in the Promotion is limited to persons aged 18 years or older (“Eligible Entrants”).
5. Directors, management, employees, officers and immediate families of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate, employees of associated agencies involved in this Promotion are ineligible to enter this Promotion.
6. Pairs of “Roll on Thursday branded dice” (“Dice”) will be handed out in various locations in the Sydney CBD and surrounding areas by “Roll on Thursday hosts” on behalf of the Promoter on Wednesdays and Thursdays between approximately 12.00pm and 10.00pm during the period Wednesday 12 November 2014 and Thursday 11 December 2014 (inclusive).
7. In order to participate in the Promotion, Eligible Entrants who receive Dice must bring the Dice to Sky Terrace at The Star Sydney (“Sky Terrace”) between 5.00pm and 11.00pm on any Thursday between Thursday 13 November 2014 to Thursday 11 December 2014 (inclusive) (“Entry Period”).
8. To enter the Promotion, Eligible Entrants must, after rolling their Dice, “Tell us why Thursday is the new Friday at The Star?
An Eligible Entrant must roll their pair of Dice at the same time, must surrender their Dice to a representative of the Promoter after their roll, and must follow any other directions given by a representative of the Promoter. Eligible Entrants are entitled to a maximum of one roll of any pair of Dice during the Entry Period.
9. A panel of judges made up of representatives of The Star will be present during the Entry Period at the designated “rolling area” located on Sky Terrace and will award one of three prizes (see details of the prizes below) to each Eligible Entrant who enters the Promotion based on three set criteria:
a. whether the Eligible Entrant’s answer contains the words “The Star”;
b. whether the Eligible Entrant’s answer incorporates the total number on the pair of Dice that are rolled (i.e. if a 3 and a 5 is rolled, whether the answer contains the word “eight”); and
c. the general creativity, flair and enthusiasm of the Eligible Entrant’s answer.

10. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winners.

a. This gift card is redeemable at all of The Star Sydney restaurants, bars, cafes, hotels and retail outlets (Excluding The Century).
b. Must be redeemed by 12.00pm Tuesday 30 June 2015.

13. Drink voucher
a. Please enjoy a complimentary house spirit, beer, wine or soft drink at Sky Terrace, Cherry, Black bar, Sokyo lounge, Balla Aperitivi Bar, 24/7 Sports Bar or Rock Lily. The complimentary house spirit, beer or wine equals one standard drink.
b. Only redeemable between 5.00pm and 11.00pm on Thursday nights between 30 October and 11 December 2014 (inclusive).
c. The voucher is also subject to any terms and conditions printed on the voucher.
14. A prize cannot be exchanged for other goods and services or redeemed for cash. Any element of a prize which is unused will be forfeited and no compensation will be paid in lieu of that element of the prize.
15. Each prize winner agrees to accept, receive and use the prize at their own risk and will, at all times, indemnify, keep indemnified, hold harmless and release the Promoter to the full extent permitted by law from and against any and all claims, causes of action, losses, damage, liability, cost or expense (including legal expenses on a full indemnity basis), incurred by the Promoter as a result of or in connection with the Promotion and from all liability which may arise in respect of any accident, damage or injury occurring to any person or property in connection with the prize and/or the prize winner including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; or any tax liability incurred by the winner. Each prize winner may also be required to sign an agreement to release the Promoter from and indemnify the Promoter against any liability arising from the use or participation in the prize).
16. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation of any aspect of a prize, due to circumstances outside its control. In any such event, an alternative element of the prize will be arranged.
17. Any entry details become the property of the Promoter. Eligible Entrants consent to the Promoter using their names, State of residence and entry details for promotional and/or marketing purposes. Each winner will agree to participate in reasonable promotional activities as requested by the Promoter, unless otherwise notified to the contrary at the time of acceptance of the Prize.

18. In the event of inclement weather, Sky Terrace may need to be closed. If Sky Terrace is closed the Promoter will make arrangements for the designated “rolling area” to be relocated to another part of The Star Sydney
