The Griswolds aren't known for half-assing things, especially their live shows, so when we found out that they're partnering up with Jack Daniel's and their 'Future Legends' series for one hell of a Sydney party, we weren't surprised. But then we found out this party required a small bunch of their friends to party down with them on a boat cruising along the Sydney Harbour, not to mention the list of some talented musos set to join them...well, in the words of Liz Lemon, we want to go to there.
Here's the broken down details: As part of the Future Legends series, Jack Daniel's 1907 is bringing The Griswolds together with collaborators Jake Stone (Bluejuice), Nic McKenzie (Deep Sea Arcade), Pepa Knight (Jinja Safari) and Castlecomer for a special hometown launch of their debut album, Be Impressive.
The 'Good Ship Griswolds' has been designed with two whole decks of live music set to entertain punters - all passengers are encouraged to dress up for the occasion: gents should be looking dapper in suits and shades, with the ladies advised to dress in their best ship-shape chic.
We have TWO double passes to give away to the party, which has been one of the most anticipated in Sydney for the past few weeks.
