TOM BALLARD
TAXIS & RAINBOWS & HATRED
As seen on ABC TV’s Reality Check and It’s a Date and Network Ten’s The Project
“[Ballard’s] material, most importantly, absolutely kills…It’s tightly paced, it’s perfectly delivered and it’s funny as hell” ★★★★★ Time Out
Former triple j breakfast guy and host of ABC TV’s Reality Check Tom Ballard is heading back to Brisbane with a brand new stand-up show.
Ballard is a 25-year-old comedy veteran. He's won the Melbourne Comedy Festival's Best Newcomer
Award, co-hosted the triple j breakfast shift for four years, won an ARIA and got his pale mug all over the telly.
Live onstage, Tom has sold out theatres across Australia and supported the likes of Stephen Merchant and Wil Anderson, who describes him as “one of the most original, fearless and hilarious voices in Australian comedy".
In Taxis & Rainbows & Hatred, Ballard gets stuck into loneliness, labels, sex, love, finding the courage to be yourself and what all that has to do with a certain cab driver on a certain rainy night.
