Sit Down Comedy Club, in conjunction with ABC Television, is happy to giveaway copies of the new comedy DVD "BLACK COMEDY.
2015 AACTA Award winning TV Series BLACK COMEDY will be available to own on DVD from 4 March.
Irreverent, provocative and just a little bit wrong...the six-part sketch comedy series BLACK COMEDY promises to ‘go blackly where no other Blackfella has gone before’.
This ground-breaking series combines a mix of observational and physical sketches, historical sketches and parodies of TV, film and commercials.
Featuring a fantastic ensemble cast of talented Indigenous writers and performers including Jon Bell (writer/producer of the acclaimed The Gods of Wheat Street) and Aaron Fa’aoso (Bikie Wars, The Straits) as well as a fantastic list of guest stars including Deborah Mailman (The Sapphires), Brendan Cowell (Ruben Guthrie), Matt Day (Rake), Brooke Satchwell (Wonderland), Sacha Horler (Old School), Shari Sebbens (The Sapphires), and Wayne Blair (Redfern Now).
Some of the lively characters appearing throughout the series include; the Tiddas (two of the most competitive, over the top gay Blackfellas), Mavis the mean-mouthed cleaning woman, the Housewives of Narromine and Deadly Dave who can fix anything. BLACK COMEDY has something for everyone.
