AN OASIS where the Hilltop Hoods, Broods and Sticky Fingers all share an adventure with the likes of Flight Facilities and The Preatures will be found by music lovers in Maitland in May.
The Groovin the Moo (GTM) tour will kick off at Oakbank, South Australia, on April 25 and will tour across Australia's regional centres and to the ACT.
This year will mark 11 years since the inaugural GTM event, which was held in Gloucester in 2005. GTM comes to Maitland on May 9.
Also on the bill this year are A$AP Ferg, Ball Park Music, Carmada, Charli XCX, The Delta Riggs, DMA's, Peaches, Meg Mac, Wolfmother, Tkay Maidza, San Cisco and You Me At Six, among others.
Sydney band The Preatures have been touted as the ones to watch, and are likely to be flooded by fans when they take to the stage.
The five-piece band formed in 2010 and comprises Isabella Manfredi on vocals and keyboards, Gideon Bensen (guitar, vocals), Jack Moffitt (guitar), Thomas Champion (bass) and Luke Davison (drums).
In 2013, the band won the Vanda and Young Songwriting Competition with their song Is This How You Feel? and was voted in as number nine in Triple J's Hottest 100.
Tickets to GTM are available online from gtm.net.au and are still available. The cost is $99.90, plus booking fee.
