Day 1: Amsterdam Embarkation (D)
Welcome to Amsterdam, a fascinating 700 year old city of picturesque canals, world class museums, theatres and cafés. You will be met and transferred* from the airport to the dock. A warm welcome awaits you from your Captain and crew as you board your luxury Evergreen Tours river cruise ship. This evening join your fellow travellers for a cocktail reception followed by a welcome dinner. Your Cruise Director will also conduct a port talk to review the activities and itinerary for the days ahead.
Day 2: Amsterdam - Cruising (B,L,D)
This morning take a glass top canal boat and explore Amsterdam’s maze of canals or join Emerald Active for a guided walk of the city, then free time, before lunch on board and your first day sailing through the Dutch countryside passing windmills and sailing through locks towards the Rhine River. As tonight is your first night sailing, the Captain will be delighted to host a gala dinner.
Day 3: Cologne (B,L,D)
Cruise along the Rhine River to Cologne, founded by the Romans, the city is one of Germany's oldest and is famous for its magnificent World–Heritage listed Gothic Cathedral. After lunch on board, join your local guide for an included tour of the Old Town, with its beautiful squares and historic monuments, with free time for exploring. Cologne is one of Germany's largest and most modern cities largely due to a rebuilding plan post WWII, and it has many different museums and galleries including a Roman artifact museum.
Day 4: Koblenz (B,L,D)
Cruise to the 2000 year old town of Koblenz, which is situated at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers. Visit the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress on the opposite side of the river, part of the Prussian defences against the French in the 19th century, and later used as a headquarters for the American military during WWII. Enjoy free time to wander through the town and take in the views. In the afternoon, sail through the spectacular Rhine Gorge, passing countless castles and vineyards as well as the infamous Lorelei statue and Pfalzgrafenstein Castle, which was built on an island in the middle of the river as a medieval toll station. Countless vineyards and medieval castles line the shores of this section of the river, with photo opportunities at every bend.
Day 5: Rudesheim (B,L,D)
This morning visit Rudesheim, a medieval village on the banks of the Rhine. Take the cable car up to the lookout for impressive views of the surrounding valley and the confluence of the Main River. Take a gondola ride up to the Germania monument overlooking the Rhine Valley. The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the local shopping or relax on board in beautiful surroundings at the confluence of the Rhine and main rivers.
Day 6: Mannheim (B,L,D)
Continue upstream to the town of Mannheim, located at the confluence of the Rhine and Neckar rivers. The city was a pivotal place during the invasion of Germany by the Allies in WWII, and has long been associated with inventions in industry. Enjoy free time in town then later sail onto Speyer, one of Germany's oldest towns. Take an excursion to the medieval town of Heidelberg including a visit to the impressive castle which overlooks the town.
Day 7: Black Forest (B,L,D)
The beautiful Black Forest region of Germany has long been a fairy tale destination. Commence your magical morning with the Vogtsbauernhof Museum, an open air exhibition of sixteenth century life, featuring a number of reconstructed Black Forest farms. You’re Invited A typical Gasthof owned by a local family with a presentation and tasting of Black Forest gateau. Return to your ship to join your captain for a farewell reception and dinner.
Day 8: Basel - Depart Zurich (B)
Welcome to Switzerland and the Rhine–side town of Basel, where you will disembark your ship and transfer* to Zurich or Basel Airport for your onward or homebound flight (please book flights after 12 noon)

1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the European Cruise
Giveaway 2 (“Competition”) is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Eligibility to Enter
2. Entry is open to all residents of Australia who are 18 years of age or over. However, employees
and the immediate families of Network Ten Pty Limited (the “Promoter”) and their associated
agencies and companies or any organisation or individual associated with the provision of the
prize(s) are not eligible to enter.
Competition Period
3. The competition commences on Tuesday 31 March 2015 at 09:00 AEDT and closes on Monday
20 April 2015 at 09.00 AEST (“Competition Period”).
4. The Competition will be advertised on, but not limited to, Network TEN,

5. To participate in the Competition entrants must log on to tenplay.com.au and register their
details including (but not limited to) name, address, phone number, email address, gender and
interest, to become a TENPlay member.
6. Entry into this competition provides automatic approval for Evergreen Tours to collect your
personal information in accordance with their privacy policy which can be viewed at
http://www.evergreentours.com.au/Content/PDF/ETAU_Privacy_Policy.pdf. There will be an
opt-out check box included on the competition entry page where entrants can check the box to
not receive promotional material from Evergreen Tours. Evergreen Tours privacy policy may

8. A limit of one entry per person per day applies to this Competition.
9. Entries must be received by Monday 20 April 2015 at 09:00 AEST to be included in the Prize
Draw. Each valid entry received over the duration of the Competition Period will be entered

10. The time of entry will in each case be the time the online entry is received by the Promoter’s
database. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries due
to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.
11. The Prize Draw will be held on Monday 20 April 2015 at 11:00 AEST at Mercury Mobility Pty Ltd,
Level 1, 16 Anster Street, Adelaide SA 5000.
12. The major prize winner will announced in program on Tuesday 21 April 2015 and will also be
notified by a phone call on the day of the draw and in writing. The winner’s details will be
published on the TENPlay website at tenplay.com.au from Wednesday 22 April 2015.
13. Prizes will be awarded to the person named in the entry. However, in a dispute, will be
awarded to the account holder of the entry mechanism used to submit their entry (ie mobile
phone account holder, landline account holder).
14. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant’s
responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided
in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
15. If required, an unclaimed prize draw will be held on Tuesday 21 July 2015 at 11:00 AEST. The
Winner of the Unclaimed Prize draw will be notified by telephone and in writing within 2 days of
the Unclaimed Prize draw and their details will be published on
www.tenplay.com.au from
Wednesday 22 July 2015.
16. An entry that is made on behalf of an Entrant by a third party will be invalid.
17. The Promoter is entitled to use any of the entries submitted in any manner and for any purpose
at its absolute discretion, including promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any
further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant. The Promoter is entitled
to amend, edit, select, crop, retouch, add to or delete from any part of the submitted entry.
18. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants
(including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who
submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers
with the entry process. Error and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion.
Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of
those rights.

20. The total Prize Pool is valued at $14,980.00 (including GST). The Promoter accepts no
responsibility for change in prize values between now the ultimate prize redemption date.
21. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize/s are not included. These are the
responsibility of the winner.
22. Prizes are strictly non-transferrable and non-negotiable, and may not be replaced or refunded.
23. The Major Prize winner and their companion are responsible for all other expenses including
spending money (unless specified), meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified),
laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, taxes (excluding departure and any
other flight associated taxes included within the prize), energy surcharges, gratuities, services
charges, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended
to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
24. The Major Prize winner’s travelling companion must also be 18 years or older.
25. The Major Prize winner and their travelling companion must travel at the same time, must
depart from the same capital city and are responsible for transport from their residence to their
nearest capital city (Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide or Brisbane) for flight departure. It is
the winners’ responsibility to organise transfers to and from the winner and their travelling
companion’s residence and nearest capital city.
26. The Promoter and Evergreen Tours are not responsible for any additional or incurred costs
while the winner and their travelling companion are travelling.

27. The Prize cannot be used towards flights only, travel insurance, items of a personal nature,
meals (other than featured in the itinerary), laundry, telephone calls, additional nights or
upgrades.
28. The Prize can only be used towards new bookings only.
29. Accepting the Prize is subject to any prevailing Terms and Conditions of Evergreen Tours.

30. The Winner and their travelling companion must advise Evergreen Tours of their preferred
travel dates by Wednesday 21 October 2015.
31. Travel blackout periods may apply for the travel prize.
32. The prize must be taken by Tuesday 1 November 2016.
33. Network TEN makes no representation as to the safety conditions or other issues that may exist
at any destination.
34. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute
the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any directions given under State
Regulation.
35. Prizes must be taken as offered. Any prize, or any unused portion of any prize, are not
exchangeable or cannot be redeemed as cash. Prizes cannot be used in conjunction with any
other special offer. Prize values are in Australian dollars. The Promoter accepts no
responsibility for any variation in the prize values. Prize winners are advised that tax
implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial
advice prior to acceptance of their prize.
36. It is the responsibility of the winner (and their travelling companion) to obtain all relevant
passports, with at least 6 months validity from the date of return, and visas if required.
37. If applicable, names as per passport and dates of birth for all travellers are required at the time
of reservation.
38. In acceptance of the prize, the Winner acknowledges that they may incur ongoing costs
associated with the prize which are the entire responsibility of the winner.
39. The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any prize damaged in transit in the delivery of
their prize.
40. If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to
infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical
failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the
administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter
reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry

process, take any action that may be available, and subject to any written directions from a
regulatory authority, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition.
41. If your entry is selected as a winning entry, validation of your circumstances, the validity of your
entry will be undertaken by the Promoter. Method of validation (without limitation) will be
determined by the Promoter in its complete discretion. If the winning entry is deemed to be a
winner, the winner will be notified as per the terms and conditions herein. In the event that the
Promoter requests the entrant to sign any legal documents relating to the verification of their
medical circumstance, the legal documents will take the form determined by the Promoter. It is
a condition of accepting the prize the winner signs any such legal documentation.
42. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude
or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and
Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer
protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except
for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the
Promoters (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability
(including negligence), for any personal injury; or loss or damage (including loss of opportunity);
whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
43. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable
Guarantees, the Promoters (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not
responsible for an excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss
or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential ,
arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or
not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party
interference: (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected
(whether or not after their receipt by the Promoters)due to any reason beyond the reasonable
control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and
Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize.
44. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as
reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters, the
Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to
disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to
modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
