The Incredible Book Eating Boy at The Joan Sutherland Centre

Produced by CDP Kids (The 13-Storey Treehouse and The 26-Storey Treehouse), Oliver Jeffers’ bestselling picture book will come to life onstage at The Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre on 15 and 16 May 2015. Children aged three to eight and their families will meet Henry, a boy who doesn’t like to read books, he likes to eat them.

The 50-minute production, adapted for the stage by Maryam Master and directed by Frank Newman, uses song, movement and puppetry. The world of Henry is filled with transforming objects and props that open and close like a book.

Duration: 50 minutes, no interval
Dates: 15 and 16 May 2015
Sessions: 10am and 1pm
Tickets: Adult $22, Child $18, Family $72
Venue: Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre, 597 High Street, Penrith
