The competition is conducted by Queensland Performing Arts Trust trading as Queensland Performing Arts Centre, ABN 13 967 571 128, of corner Grey and Melbourne Streets, South Bank Qld 4101 ("QPAC").
Entry
Entry is open to all Queensland residents aged 18 years or over excluding QPAC's Trust members, officers, management and employees of QPAC and any entities associated with the Competition (including suppliers of the prize/s) and their immediate families.
Entrants may enter the competition by filling in all details on the competition page via the special link.
Entrants automatically receive one additional entry for every friend they refer who enters the competition via the special link.
Entrants may enter in their own name only.
The competition opens at 12:00pm AEST on Monday 25 May 2015.
The competition closes at 11:59pm AEST on Sunday 31 May 2015. Entries received after this date will not be accepted.
The cost of accessing the entry form is dependent on the entrant's individual Internet Service Provider and is the responsibility of the entrant.
Entry forms containing incomplete, incomprehensible or inaccurate information are not valid and will not be accepted.
QPAC does not take any responsibility for any lost, damaged, or misdirected entries.
QPAC may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any or all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this competition by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or acts in violation of these conditions.
QPAC is collecting entrants' personal information to conduct the competition and to enter details into a database to be used for marketing, promotional and publicity purposes. Entrants agree to this use of their personal information. Further information about how QPAC uses personal information and how to access or amend that information is set out in QPAC's Privacy Policy.
Subject to any laws which cannot be excluded, QPAC will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including, without limitation, direct, indirect or consequential loss), arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the competition or any prize.
Entrants agree that, if they win the promotion, QPAC may use their name and, if requested by QPAC, a photograph of the entrant to be used in conjunction with any advertising or promotion for, on behalf of, or at the direction of QPAC.
Draw
The draw will take place at 10:00am AEST on Monday 1 June 2015 at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Bank. The winners will be drawn randomly from all eligible entries.
QPAC's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winners will be notified by telephone and/or email.
Results will not be published.
QPAC may require an entrant to produce, within a specified time period, appropriate photographic identification or other documentation in order to confirm (to QPAC's satisfaction, in its sole discretion) each entrant's identity, age, residential address and email address and eligibility to enter before issuing the prize. If the entrant does not produce the required documentation to QPAC within the specified time period, the winner’s entry will become invalid and the prize will be re-drawn as set out below.
If the prize is not accepted, claimed or validated by 5:00pm AEST on Tuesday 2 June 2015, the winner's entry will become invalid and the prize will be re-drawn as set out below.
Prizes
Prizes must be taken as offered and cannot be varied.
Prizes are not redeemable for cash and are not transferable to any other person.
If QPAC is unable to supply a nominated prize or any part of it, QPAC reserves the right, subject to the written directions of any competent authority, to supply another prize of greater or equal value.
In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, a winner does not take the prize or any part of it, then that prize or part of it will be forfeited by the winner and no cash or other prize will be awarded in lieu.
Major Prize
The major prize winner will receive:
2 tickets to Bangarra Dance Theatre's opening night of lore at Sydney Opera House at 7:30pm on Thursday 11 June 2015 and access to the after party;
1 night's accommodation for 2 people in a studio apartment at Oaks Goldsborough Apartments on Thursday 11 June 2015; and
2 return economy airfares from Brisbane domestic airport to Sydney domestic airport.
The total prize value is $650.00 (including GST and fees). This figure is the retail value as provided by the suppliers and is correct at the time of printing.
Airport and hotel transfers, spending money, food, drinks, travel insurance, incidental expenses and anything else not stipulated above are not included in the prize. QPAC is not responsible for any costs incurred by the winner in taking the prize. QPAC recommends that the winner and his/her companion obtain travel insurance.
Travel and accommodation arrangements will be made by QPAC's in its sole discretion.
Runner-Up Prizes
Two runners-up will each receive:
2 tickets to Bangarra Dance Company's performance of lore at 7:30pm on Thursday 13 July 2015 at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre.
Each runner-up prize is valued at $130.00 retail (including GST and fees).
Transport, parking, food, drinks, travel insurance, incidental expenses and anything else not stipulated above are not included in the prize. QPAC is not responsible for any costs incurred by the winner in taking the prize.
Redraw
In the event that a winning entry becomes invalid in accordance with these terms and conditions, QPAC will conduct such further draws on Wednesday 3 June 2015 at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Bank as necessary to award the prize to a valid entry.
The winner/s of any redraw will be notified by telephone and/or email on Wednesday 3 June 2015.
