Entrants must be 16 years of age or over.
The Promoter may require entrants to provide proof of age in a form acceptable to the Promoter. Should an entrant be unable to satisfy this requirement, the entrant will be ineligible for the prize, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion.
Entrants aged under 18 years must obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian to enter the promotion and provide personal information about themselves. All entries of entrants who are under the age of 18 years and enter the promotion without disclosing (or attempting to conceal) their age (as and where required) and/or do not provide the required parental or guardian consent (as and where required) will be deemed invalid. These Terms of Entry will bind the entrants and any parent or legal guardian who gives their consent (for entrants aged under 18 years). If the winner is aged under 18 years, prizes will be awarded to the parent or legal guardian who consented to the winner registering in the promotion on behalf of the winner, at the sole discretion of the Promoter, and that parent or legal guardian must accompany the winner for the duration of the prize (if applicable).
Entrants must provide a nominated valid Australian bank account (or the nominated bank account of the winner’s parent/guardian if the winner is under 18 years of age) as requested by the Promoter, in the event that the entrant is a winner.
Entrants must be able to receive a call from the Promoter and appear on air between 4.00pm (AEST) and 6.00pm (AEST) on any day between Monday 13th July 2015 and Friday 17th July 2015 in order to be eligible for a prize.
The promotion begins at 6.00pm (AEST) on Friday 10th July 2015.
Entries into the promotion close at 2.00pm (AEST) on Friday 17th July 2015.
The promotion ends at 6.00pm (AEST) on Friday 17th July 2015.
Daily Code Word
Each night between Sunday 12th July 2015 and Thursday 16th July 2015, between 7.00pm (AEST) and 9.00pm (AEST), a different code word will be broadcast during MasterChef on Channel 10 (each, a Daily Code Word). Entrants must watch MasterChef on Channel 10 each night during the Promotion Period to obtain the Daily Code Word.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Daily Code Word will be broadcast between 7.00pm (AEST) and 9.00pm (AEST) on the following dates:
- Sunday 12th July 2015;
- Monday 13th July 2015;
- Tuesday 14th July 2015;
- Wednesday 15th July 2015; and
- Thursday 16th July 2015.
Entrants must obtain the Daily Code Word in order to be eligible to enter the promotion via the Web Entry method outlined below, on the following weekday during the Promotion Period.
Web Entry
During the Promotion Period listeners will be invited via Station on-air mentions to visit the Station Website and fully complete the online entry form in the manner required, including by:
(a) providing their contact details including name, age, current address, contact phone number and current and valid email address; and
(b) answering in 25 words or less the following question: “Why should Kate, Tim & Marty give you $1,000 cash?” (Answer); and
(c) entering the most recently broadcast Daily Code Word. Entries must be received by 2.00pm (AEST) each day during the Promotion Period (for entries containing the previous night’s Daily Code Word) otherwise the entry will be deemed invalid (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion).
Each valid entry will be individually reviewed by representatives of the Promoter (Judges) based on the Judging Criteria.
Daily Judging
Each weekday between Monday 13th July 2015 and Friday 17th July 2015, between 2.00pm (AEST) and 4.00pm (AEST), the Promoter will:
(a) select the one (1) entrant judged to have submitted the “best” entry (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) from all valid entries received by 2.00pm (AEST) that weekday during the Promotion Period (as applicable) (each, a Selected Entrant). For the avoidance of doubt, Daily Judging will take place on the following dates:
- Monday 13th July 2015;
- Tuesday 14th July 2015;
- Wednesday 15th July 2015;
- Thursday 16th July 2015; and
- Friday 17th July 2015,
(b) contact the Selected Entrant (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) by telephone; and
(c) invite the Selected Entrant to appear on air and state their Answer and/or the Daily Code Word contained in their entry (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) between 4.00pm (AEST) and 6.00pm (AEST) that weekday during the Promotion Period.
In the event that a Selected Entrant is unable to be contacted, their phone goes to voice message, their phone line drops out, or the Selected Entrant declines to or is otherwise unable to appear on air, the Promoter may, in its sole and absolute discretion, contact the entrant who submitted the next “best” entry (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) to be a Selected Entrant and invite them to appear on air between 4.00pm (AEST) and 6.00pm (AEST) that weekday during the Promotion Period. The Promoter will continue this process until an entrant has been successfully contacted and the entrant has confirmed their eligibility and ability to appear on air as a Selected Entrant between 4.00pm (AEST) and 6.00pm (AEST) that weekday during the Promotion Period.
For the avoidance of doubt, if an entrant is spoken to by a representative of the Promoter, it does not mean they have been selected as a Selected Entrant, and they may not be invited to appear on air and/or be awarded a prize. Selected Entrants must appear on air during the Promotion Period to be deemed a winner and awarded a prize.
Selected Entrants will be asked by a representative of the Promoter (off air) to provide their contact details, including their nominated valid Australian bank account (or the nominated bank account of their parent/guardian if the winner is under 18 years of age) for the purposes of awarding the prize, in the event that the Selected Entrant is a winner.
Entrants may enter the promotion as many times as they wish, however each entry must be submitted separately, must contain a different Answer and must independently comply with these Terms of Entry.
For the avoidance of doubt, entrants may only appear on air once and win one (1) prize each.

All valid entries will be individually judged by representatives of the Promoter by Friday 17th July 2015 at the Promoter’s premises to determine up to five (5) winners. All valid entries will be judged based on the Judging Criteria. The winners will be notified in accordance with the Notification of Winners information set out below.
Each valid entry submitted will be individually judged by the Judges based on provision of the correct and most recently broadcast Daily Code Word, creativity, uniqueness and appeal for radio.
Prizes:
There are up to five (5) cash prizes to be won, as follows: Cash prize of $1,000 AUD (inc GST),
to be transferred to the winner’s nominated valid Australian bank account via electronic funds transfer (or to the nominated bank account of the winner’s parent/guardian if the winner is under 18 years of age).
Up to $5,000 AUD (inc GST).
Prize winners will be notified:
- via telephone; and
- on air at the time of winning, by Friday 17th July 2015.
Prizes must be claimed by 5.00pm (AEDT) on Monday 19th October 2015.
Prizes will be transferred to the winner’s nominated valid Australian bank account via electronic funds transfer (or to the nominated bank account of the winner’s parent/guardian if the winner is under 18 years of age).
