TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF “WALKING THE CAMINO – SIX WAYS TO SANTIAGO” PROMOTION AS AT 27th APRIL 2015
“Walking the Camino – Six ways to Santiago” is a promotion where you are eligible to WIN A seven day self-guided walking tour along the Camino De Santiago, Spain, Economy airfares for two ex-Melbourne, Sydney or Perth to Madrid and return, transfers to and from the start and finish of the route to Madrid plus 6 days accommodation at historic hotels and county houses along the Camino De Santiago trail (conditions apply).
By entering this “Walking the Camino – Six ways to Santiago” promotion, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1. Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open only to all residents of New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia who watch the movie, Walking the Camino – Six ways to Santiago, at a participating cinema and either
2.1.1. Enter online at

2.1.2. Who submit their entry at boxes provided at a participating cinemas.
2.2. Employees and their immediate families of Umbrella Entertainment Pty Ltd
(ABN 61 093 275 659), Raw Travel (ABN 39 112 851 117), and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether by natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.
2.3. Entrants must be over the age of 18 to be eligible to win the promotion.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1. The competition commences on 2nd June 2015 at midnight (AEST) and concludes on end of theatrical season (“the Competition Period”) but in any event will conclude 15th July 2015.
3.2. To enter the competition, entrants must complete their online / manual entry by answering in 25 words or less: “What would walking the Camino de Santiago mean to you?”
3.3. One (1) winner will be selected from combined entries. The winner will be notified by 5pm on 31st July 2015 via phone and in writing, via email. If the winner does not respond to contact made by 7th August 2015 by 5pm, then the prize will be forfeited and a redraw will occur.
3.4. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
3.5. One entry per movie goer permitted subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per movie goer; (b) entry must be submitted by answering the promotional question in 25 words or less; and (c) entry must be submitted in accordance with entry requirements.
3.6. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on literary and creative merit. All entries must be the original independent creation of the entrant and free of any claims that they infringe any third party rights. Entries must not have been published previously and/or have been used to win prizes in other competitions. The best valid entry will be judged by Umbrella Entertainment as the best/most creative entry, will win a prize. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
3.7. Entrants under the age of 18 years are not eligible to win this promotion.
3.8. Prize winner MUST book travel prior to 10th October 2015 through Raw Travel with the tour completed by 31 October 2016.
3.9. Blackouts will apply in the peak summer months of 1st June to 31st August 2015 and no travel will be available during these dates.
4. PRIZES
4.1. The judges reserve the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which, in the opinion of the judges, includes objectionable content, including but not limited to profanity, nudity, potentially insulting, scandalous, inflammatory or defamatory images or language. The judge’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
4.2. The prize winner will receive a flight and accommodation package to Spain as well as the items listed in points 4.5 – 4.12.
4.3. Two (2) economy flights ex SYD/MEL/PER ONLY) to Madrid with return economy flights ex Madrid, Spain plus transfers to and from Madrid to the start and finish of the route (conditions apply).
4.4. Six (6) nights’ accommodation at historic hotels and country houses along the Camino De Santiago trail in a twin share en-suite rooms inclusive of daily breakfast for two (conditions apply).
4.5. Luggage transfer each day from hotel to hotel, (1x15kg bag per person) and Daily luggage tags.
4.6. Full Camino walking guide (best available – 1 book per two people on twin share) & map.
4.7. Pilgrims Passport per person and Spanish Phrase book.
4.8. Waterproof map & document case.
4.9. Maps of your hotel locations.
4.10. Emergency contact numbers.
4.11. Pre-trip guidance with planning your Camino de Santiago trip & starting point transport.
4.12. Dedicated local support person in Spain for reassurance.
4.13. TOTAL PRIZE VALUE APPROX AUD$6,200 (incl. GST)
4.14. The prize is non-transferable to other persons and non-redeemable for cash. Any attempt to resell or auction all or any part of this prize will result in an immediate cancellation of the prize. Prize cannot be exchanged for another tour. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by Raw Travel then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
4.15. Any taxes (other than GST, if any) which may be payable as a consequence of a winner receiving the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner other than airline imposed fuel surcharges and taxes which will form part of the Prize.
4.16. The prize is strictly as stated above. All other costs are the responsibility of the prize winner.
4.17. The airline will be chosen by Raw Travel based on availability and airport of departure – specific airline requests cannot be made.
5. EXCLUSIONS AND CONDITIONS
5.1. Personal travel Insurance and personal spending is not included as part of this prize. Travel insurance is compulsory. We require that the winners, at a minimum, are covered for medical expenses including emergency repatriation. We strongly recommend that the policy also covers personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects.
5.2. The prize does not include a guide, and if a guide is required this is at the winner’s expense. Any optional activities in the area outside of the tour schedule are not included as part of this prize. International Travel VISA’s. All costs listed are inclusive of GST.
5.3. Prize is subject to availability. Not valid in conjunction with any other offer. Should this tour not be redeemable, Raw Travel reserves the right to substitute an alternative tour.
5.4. Once booked the departure date confirmed cannot be changed or cancelled or prize will be forfeited.
5.5. In participating in the prize, the winner agrees to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the promotion, including but not limited to being interviewed, filmed and photographed. The winner grants the promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use In the event that for any reason.
5.6. The Camino de Santiago walking tour can be tailored to the dates and distances of the winners choosing, however if there are additional costs above the prize value these will be at the winners expense. Itineraries featured on the website:

5.7. The hotel details and other particulars on the trip may vary according to availability on the chosen dates. RAW Travel reserves the right to use alternative accommodation of a similar standard where needed. They will be advised of the hotels when the booking is confirmed. Please refer to document available from Raw Travel which explains the offer in more detail.

5.8. No frequent flyer miles may be accrued, no upgrades permitted.
5.9. Stopovers are only permitted as stated by the fare.
5.10. Not transferable, no name changes or dates changes once flights have been booked will be permitted
5.11. Additional spending money, pre and post tour accommodation, meals, items of a personal nature, inoculations, and all other ancillary costs are not included as part of the prize and are the responsibility of the winner.
5.12. It is the traveller’s personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not limited to valid passports, visas and health requirements, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the traveller/s.
5.13. The prize winner must be one of the travelling party and all travelling companions must travel on the same tour as the prize winner.
5.14. Winners must contact Raw Travel on 03 5976 3763 or
yourcamino@rawtravel.com to claim the prize. By accepting the prize, the prize winner and travelling companions agree with the booking terms and conditions of travel with Raw Travel. Dates are is subject to availability as determined by Raw Travel.
5.15. It is a condition of the prize that nothing is written by the prize winner about the tour or Raw Travel in any publication or website without the written approval of Umbrella Entertainment and Raw Travel
5.16. Blackouts will apply in the peak summer months of 1st June to 31st August and no travel will be available during these dates.
5.17. Each entrant who has entered the competition over the Competition Period and registered all details in accordance with clause 3 will be entered into the prize draw.
5.18. The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to State Legislation.
6.2. Umbrella Entertainment Pty Ltd, Raw Travel Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
6.3. Umbrella Entertainment Pty Ltd, Raw Travel Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) damage or claim that may occur
6.4. During the promotion;
6.4.1. Whilst undertaking any travel won on or connected with their entry into the draw; or
6.4.2. in the participation in any prize; or
6.4.3. as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail; or
6.4.4. Due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person; or
6.4.5. arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines or mobile communications network related to or resulting from participation in this promotion; or
6.4.6. due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control
6.5. Umbrella Entertainment Pty Ltd, Raw Travel and its affiliates assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
6.6. If, for any reason, this competition is not capable of being conducted as planned, including, but not limited, due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to State Legislation
6.7. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
6.8. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
6.9. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize.
6.10. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and as required, to regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
