Via recorded/live promotional pointers, entrants will be encouraged to watch the new Channel 9 Television show ‘The Hot Plate’ at 7.30pm (AEST) to get the code word from the TVC (Television Commercial) featuring Hughesy and Kate during the screening of ‘The Hot Plate’ on Channel 9. There will be (5) code words during the contesting period and a new draw for each code word.
To enter, listeners must then log onto the station website in their state or via
www.hughesyandkate.com.auEntrants will then need to complete the registration form including the standard entry fields for an entry to be deemed valid which include - name, date of birth, postal address, suburb, postcode, contact number, email address and the code word.
There are five (5) cash prizes to be won during the contesting period. 5 x AUD$2,000
Combined prize pool value is = AUD$10,000
Each winner will receive their prize money via an EFT transaction to their nominated account.

Listeners may enter as many times as they wish, however they can only play the competition with the announcers once for the chance to win.

At 1.00pm AEST each day during the contesting period a representative from ARN will randomly select ten (10) entrants numbered from 1-10 (via an electronic number generator system) to call between 4pm-6pm AEST for their chance to play ‘Hughesy and Kate’s The Hot Plate Watch n Win code word’ competition. If entrant number one (1) does not pick up the phone within 5 rings or the phone goes to message bank, the entrant will be disqualified and the ARN representative will call entrant number two (2). This process will be repeated up to entrant number ten (10) or until the representative from ARN has made contact with one of the entrants for their chance to play the competition.
Each day during the contesting period the successful entrant will be asked by the announcers (Hughesy and Kate) what the code word is, which was screened during the Channel 9 TV show ‘The Hot Plate’ at 7.30pm (AEST) the night before.
If the entrant correctly answers with the right code word, they’ll be awarded AUD$2,000.
If the entrant incorrectly answers, that entrant will be disqualified from the competition and the announcers will take the next caller until a caller answers with the correct code word.

At the Promoter’s discretion, contesting segments may either be broadcast live to air, or may be pre-recorded off air, ready to be broadcast on air at a later time.
The promoter reserves the right to amend the contesting period at its absolute discretion.
The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The winners will be notified by phone, on-air and in writing via email.
The results of this competition (winners first initial, surname and state) will be published on the below listed station websites for 28 days from Wednesday 5th August 2015 from 6.00pm AEST:
