It should come as no news to anyone that the rise of streetwear has been rapid and engulfing.

Sneakers, hoodies and graphic tees have long since arrived on high fashion runways, and where we once considered haute couture the epitome of rare and covetable, we're now dropping thousands on a pair of sneakers.

So it's about time someone explored this phemomenon. A part of the Melbourne International Film Festival schedule, Fresh Dressed looks at the rise of street style. It's the debut feature from journalist, producer and pioneering culture chronicler Sacha Jenkins, who interviews streetwear players and pioneers including Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Riccardo Tisci and former Vogue editor, André Leon Talley.
