We have 2 tickets to Play at the OzAsia Festival to give away to one lucky RAA Member. The performance is on Saturday 3 October at 7.30pm.

Legendary choreographer Pina Bausch championed the work of Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Shantala Shivalingappa, inviting them to collaborate; and Play is the result. Merging the traditional form of Indian Kuchipudi with contemporary dance, Play intertwines two cultural forms into an astonishingly beautiful aesthetic.
A subtle hand gesture reveals hidden meanings. Voices dance. Music and song create an unseen choreography. Play pivots on two intertwined conceits: the role-playing required in theatre and the games people play – in this case, a man and a woman. Games of chess, games of seduction, ploys where male-female energies are pitted, not so much against each other as in winning over the other.
Play is dedicated to Pina Bausch.

1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of the conditions of entry.
2. All employees of the promoter and its related bodies corporate are ineligible to enter.
3. The competition commences on 24 August 2015 and finishes on 16 September 2015.
4. The competition consists of one prize in total. The winner will receive a double pass to see Play Choreographed and performed by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Shantala Shivalingappa on Saturday 3 October at 7.30pm at the Adelaide Festival Theatre.
5. Prize value is in Australian dollars. Prize value is $100.
6. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
7. Only current financial RAA members are eligible to enter.
To enter, the entry form featured on the RAA competitions page (
www.raa.com.au/competitions) must be completed.
The winners will be drawn through a random process.
All draws will take place at the RAA, 101 Richmond Rd, Mile End on 17 September 2015.
The first entry drawn that fulfils the competition entry criteria will win the prize.
The winner will be notified by email or phone within 14 days of the draw date.
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or taken for cash.
The promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for:
(i) inaccurate / incorrect transcription of entry information;
(ii) purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, incomplete, sent with insufficient postage (where entry is by post), or sent other than as directed in the entry instructions;
(iii) any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software;
(iv) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website;
(v) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition;
(vi) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition;
(vii) any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a prize winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying a winner; or
(viii) any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant's or any other person's computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in this competition.
23. The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
