The competition is open to anyone in Australia or New Zealand who is a current member of the Alternative Technology Association or subscriber to ReNew or Sanctuary magazine.

The prize is not redeemable for cash. Prize value includes GST.
ATA membership, ReNew and Sanctuary subscriptions can be undertaken online at http://shop.ata.org.au or by phone on (03) 9639 1500 or mailed to ATA, Level 1, 39 Little Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3000.
Entry is only open to Australian and New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over.
Employees (and their immediate families) of ATA, members of the ATA Board, employees of Australian Ethical Investment, and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
The competition is open to individuals only. Corporate entities, collectives and organisations are ineligible.
To be eligible you must be aged 18 years and over, a resident of Australia or New Zealand and a current member of the Alternative Technology Association or subscriber to ReNew or Sanctuary
The competition runs from 2 May 2015 to 30 October 2015. To be eligible, subscriptions/memberships must be received by 5pm EDT on 30 October 2015.
The competition will be drawn at 11am EDT on Friday, 13 November 2015 at the Alternative Technology Association, Level 1, 39 Little Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3000.
The winner will be contacted by phone and will be notified in writing. The winner’s name will be published in ReNew 134 in December 2015 or ReNew 135 in March 2016 and Sanctuary 34 in February 2016.
If within three months of notification the winner does not claim their prize the competition will be redrawn at 11am on 12 February 2015 at the Alternative Technology Association, Level 1, 39 Little Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3000.
The redraw winner will be contacted by phone and will be notified in writing. The winner’s name will be published in ReNew 135 in March 2016 and in Sanctuary 35 in May 2016.
The prize is a $5,000 investment in the Australian Ethical Managed Fund of the winner’s choice. The prize will be awarded in the form of a single payment of AUD$5,000 invested directly into the Fund by Australian Ethical Investment. For the full terms and conditions of the investment in the Fund please refer to Australian Ethical’s Product Disclosure Statements available at http://www.australianethical.com.au/managed-funds-pds. The information in these documents is not based on the financial objectives, situation or needs of any particular investor. In deciding whether to acquire or continue to hold the Fund, the winner should obtain the Product Disclosure Statement and consider whether the Fund is appropriate for them. Terms and conditions apply to the Fund. The final winner will be provided with the appropriate current PDS for their chosen Fund.
The winner must complete the application form for the managed investment in which they would like the prize to be paid into. Failure to do so within three months of being notified as the winner will mean that the Promoter cannot award the prize to the winner and it will be deemed to be forfeited.
Tax implications may arise from the receipt of the prize. The winner should seek independent financial advice. The Promoter is not liable for any tax liability incurred by any entrant or winner which arises from the promotion. There may also be implications for income and asset tests for some individuals.
The winner will submit to the ATA photos of themselves for use in publicising the prize which may also be used by Australian Ethical Investment.
