COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Shed Online Member Competition (Competition) is being held and promoted by Beyond Blue Ltd ABN 87 093 865 840 of 290 Burwood Road, Hawthorn, Victoria, 3122 (beyondblue).
Opening and closing dates
The Competition opens on Monday 26 October 2015 at 9am (AEST) and concludes on Friday 11 December 2015 at 5pm (AEST) (Competition Period).
Who may enter
The only people who many enter the Competition are:
Australian residents;
·over 18 years of age;
People who will be ineligible for the Competition are:
beyondblue employees, immediate family of beyondblue employees, suppliers, associated companies and agencies.
For the purposes of these terms and conditions, ‘immediate family’ means a spouse, parent, child or sibling, whether or not they live in the same household as a relevant beyondblue employee.
How to enter
Participants enter the competition by:
New members are encouraged to join The Shed Online, an online community for men to support their mental health.
New members who join during the competition period will register their name and contact details for the purpose of the draw.
1 x Prize will be awarded
One winner will be randomly drawn from all new members who register to become a member of The Shed Online during the competition period.
The prize draw will take place on Tuesday 15 December at 12pm at the office of beyondblue, 290 Burwood Road, Hawthorn, 3122.
The winner’s name will be published on The Shed Online website.
Promotional material
The competition will be promoted through Facebook. Development of advertising material is currently in train but no final materials are currently available for viewing.
Conditions of entry
By entering this Competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. beyondblue reserves the right to verify the validity of entries received, and to disqualify any participant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Any entry that is entered outside of the Competition Period will be invalid.
Selection of the winner and prize details
On Tuesday 15 December 2015 , [1] participant will be randomly selected by beyondblue as a Competition winner (Winner).
The Winner will receive a Bunnings gift voucher, valued at $500 (AUD) (Prize).
The Winner will be notified in writing. beyondblue will require details of a mailing address for the Prize by cob on Thursday 17 December.
The Prize must be accepted as offered and is: Not exchangeable, Not transferable, Not redeemable for cash.
If any aspect of a Prize cannot be provided for any reason, beyondblue reserves the right to substitute the relevant Prize, in whole or in part, for any other item of equal or greater value subject to relevant state and territory regulations.
If the Prize remains unclaimed after three months of the selection of a Winner (including due to the failure by the Winner to supply a mailing address), a redraw for the unclaimed prize will take place. The re-draw will take place at 12pm on 15/03/16 at the office of beyondblue, 290 Burwood Road, Hawthorn, 3122. The Winner identified through the re-draw process will be notified in writing.
Privacy
Personal information collected by beyondblue in conjunction with the Competition will be used to contact Winners and for beyondblue's future marketing and promotional activities.
All personal information collected by beyondblue in conjunction with the Competition will be handled and used in accordance with beyondblue's Privacy Policy, available on beyondblue's website (
www.beyondblue.org.au).
Internet
If, for any reason, the Competition does not run during the Competition Period due to a computer virus, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of beyondblue that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, beyondblue reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition or disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
Any such termination, changing, modifying or suspending of the promotion is subject to relevant state and territory regulations.
beyondblue is not responsible for any:
malfunction, delay or traffic congestion on any network or line, computer on-line system, servers or providers, computer equipment, software or website; or
failure of any email or entry to be received by beyondblue.
Limitation of liability
beyondblue makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of the Prizes.
To the extent permitted by law, beyondblue is not liable for any loss or damage that is suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by beyondblue, its employees, agents or contractors in connection with the Competition.
In the event that any such liability cannot be excluded by law, the total liability of beyondblue will not exceed the total value of the Prizes.
