3. Promotion commences Thursday 1 October 2015 and concludes Monday 30 November 2015
4. The promotion is open to any person who joins or renews their Wests membership between
Thursday 1 October 2015 and close of trade Monday 30 November 2015 (excludes social
membership)
5. All entry tickets remain live for the duration of the minor gift card draws
6. Only one ticket per membership in the minor gift card draws and major European River Cruise
draw is permitted, tickets are not transferrable
Minor Gift Card Draws
7. Members do not have to be present for the minor draws which will take place at 6:30pm each
Monday night from 5th October to 30th November 2015 (9 draws)
At each minor draw 55 tickets will be drawn (15 x tickets at Wests New Lambton, 10 x tickets
at Wests Mayfield, 10 x tickets at Wests Cardiff, 10 x tickets at Wests City and 10 x tickets at
Wests Nelson Bay Diggers). Every name drawn is an instant winner who will receive a $50
Wests Gift Card. Minor Draw winner will be notified by mail within 3 days of the weekly draw
and must arrange collection of their prize at the Club it was drawn, presenting notification
letter and suitable ID.
8. Minor draws will occur in the main foyer of Wests New Lambton, Wests Mayfield. Wests
Cardiff, Wests City and Wests Nelson Bay Diggers. There will be two (2) or more
representatives of Wests present at each draw
9. Every member who receives notification of an instant minor draw win will be notified by mail
and must present this letter with suitable ID within 1 month of the date of the letter at the club
they entered the draw to redeem their gift card prize.
10. Prize is not transferrable, exchangable or redeemable for cash. Prize must be taken as
offered and may not be varied. Incomplete or illegible tickets will be void. All entrants must be
18 years and over.
Major European River Cruise Draw
11. Members do not have to be present for the major European River Cruise draw which will take
place at 6:00pm on Tuesday 1st December 2015 in the main foyer of Wests New Lambton
after all major draw tickets have been collected from Wests Mayfield, Wests Cardiff, Wests
Early Renewal Campaign – Terms and Conditions
City and Wests Nelson Bay Diggers. There will be two (2) or more representatives of Wests
present at the major European River Cruise draw.
12. The prize is one (1) APT Europe River Cruise for two adults, on a 15 Day Magnificent Europe
River Cruise itinerary. The prize includes 14 nights cruising in a Category T, twin balcony
suite. Your prize is valid for any departure in October 2016, subject to availability. The prize
also includes return economy airfares ex Sydney. Prize value $30,000 including taxes.
Winner must arrange to book their prize at the helloworld Hunter Travel Group Head Office in
Wickham by 11th December 2015. The prize is not transferrable to another tour destination or
to another passenger/s. Cabin upgrades at brochure prices. No cash refund or
reimbursement allowed if the prize is not utlised. No credit given if full value of the tour is not
utilised on one booking. Requests shall be accepted subject to availability and the Company
reserves the right to offer alternative dates and/or itineraries. The cruise is for two people and
is on a twin/double share basis and is based on a twin balcony suite (category T subject to
availability). Airline is at the discretion of the Travel Agent (Hunter Travel Group – helloworld)
and will be booked to meet the cruise departure selected. Travel insurance is highly
recommended and is not included in this prize. Additional expenses such as meals not
specified in the chosen trip itinerary, insurance, any optional tours or activities during free time
and items of a personal nature, are at passengers’ expense. Once booked, cancellation and
change fees may apply if date changes are made. The prize is not combinable with any other
offer.
13. The winner of the major European River Cruise draw will be notified by phone and mail.
Winners name will be published Wednesday 2nd December 2015 on the Wests website
(
www.westsnewcastle.com.au) and in the February 2016 Wests Members Magazine. Winner
will be photographed with the travel agent and relevant suppliers which will become the
property of the said agents and suppliers for promotional purposes.
14. Winner must show suitable ID (driver’s licence or other) to collect prize.
15. Prize is not transferrable, exchangable or redeemable for cash. Prize must be taken as
offered and may not be varied. Incomplete or illegible tickets will be void. All entrants must be

6. To enter, eligible entrants must join or renew their Wests membership during the promotional

7. Any cost associated with accessing the Promotion website is the individual’s responsibility and is

8. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Eligible Entrants
(including an Eligible Entrant who, in the Promoter’s reasonable opinion, submits an entry that is

9. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid

11. Instant winners will be notified after payment of their membership has been processed online and
will receive email notification of their instant win to the nominated email address provided. Instant
win notification email must be presented with suitable ID at the Wests New Lambton Helpdesk (88
Hobart Road, New Lambton NSW 2305) between the 2nd December – 30th December 2015 to
redeem prize.
12. There will be two (2) instant prizes that will be available to be won each day during the Promotional

Certified Instant Win Generator to randomly determine two (2) times each day during the
Promotional Period (the ‘Winning Times”). The first entry, received on or after each of a Winning
Times for that day, will be the provisional winner of an instant prize. If the instant prizes for a
particular day are not won, they will be entered into the Unclaimed Prize Draw.
13. Provisional winners will be notified instantly online as to whether or not they are an instant winner
(“Provisional Instant Winner”). All Provisional Instant Winners’ names will be published online by
2nd December 2015 at
www.MyWests.com.au Provisional Instant Winners will only be deemed
instant winners subject to verification. If a Provisional Instant Winner is found not be an Eligible
Entrant, or their entry is deemed invalid under these conditions, the prize will be awarded in the
Unclaimed Prize Draw.
14. The Promoters decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into
15. If a prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize
with a prize to the equal value and / or specification, subject to any written directions from a
regulatory authority.
16. Total prize pool value is up to AUD$7,950
17. Prizes are not transferrable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash
18. A draw for any unclaimed instant win prizes may take place at 10:00hrs AEDST on 1st December
2015 in the main foyer of Wests New Lambton, 88 Hobart Road New Lambton NSW 2305, subject
to any directions from a regulatory authority. Provisional winners, if any, will be notified in writing
within two business (2) days of being drawn. Provisional winners will only be deemed winners
subject to verification.
19. Quality control errors will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim. Unless otherwise due to
fraud or ineligibility under these Terms and Conditions, all prize claims in excess of the advertised
prize pool will be honoured. Instant win prize materials will be void if stolen, forged, mutilated or
tampered with in any way. There will be up to 122 online instant win notifications for this
Competition.
20. Eligible Entrants consent to the Promoter using the Eligible Entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or
voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in
any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this
Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or
supplied by the Promoter.
21. It is a condition of accepting a prize that winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the
prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.
22. If for any reason the conduct or operation of the Promotion is interfered with or disrupted in any
way (including vandalism., power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes,
computer bugs or viruses, tampering or technical failures), the Promoter reserves the right to
cancel, terminate. Modify or suspend or recommence the Competition, subject to the approval of
the authorities that have issued permits for its conduct.
23. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for: (i) any error, omission, interruption, or delay in the
operation or transmission of any communication sent to (or by) the Promoter or any entrant
whether caused by problems with communication networks or lines, computer systems, software
or internet service providers, congestion on any carrier network or otherwise, (ii) any theft,
destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of such communications; (iii) any problem with,
or technical malfunction of, any computer system or other equipment used for the conduct of the
Promotion; (iv) any incorrect or incomplete information which may be communicated in the course
of administering this Promotion (whether as a result of one of the foregoing causes or otherwise);
(v) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after
their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter,
(vi) any variation in prize value to that stated in these conditions; (vii) any tax liability incurred by a
winner or Eligible Entrant; or (viii) use of a prize. Individuals should obtain independent tax and
financial advice.
24. Eligible Entrants’ personal information will be collected by or on behalf of the Promoter to enable it
to administer the Competition and publicise its winner(s) and, if Eligible Entrant consents, may be
used to market its products to the Eligible Entrant. The personal information of each winner may
be provided to others assisting in the conduct of the Promotion, including the Promotion
administrator, prize suppliers and deliverers, and to regulatory authorities. Persons may contact
the Promoter by visiting
www.MyWests.com.au to request access to, or corrections of, any of their
collected personal information that is held by the Promoter. If an Eligible Entrant does not provide
accurate personal information the promoter may determine that they are not eligible to win a prize.

Sign up or renew your Wests membership between 1st October 2015 and 30th September 2016 and
provide your email and / or mobile number, plus give The Wests Group a recommendation rating
between 1 – 10, to receive electronic offers and promotions from Wests and automatically go into the
draw to win a $300 Wests gift card every month.*
The draw will take place within the first week of each month and all eligible members automatically
will have a ticket placed into the West New Lambton barrel for the month they joined or renewed their
Wests membership; with one winning member drawn out. Each monthly winner will receive a Wests
gift card valued at $300.00, to be used at any Wests point of sale where the card symbol is shown.
Winners will be contacted via phone. Winner does not need to be present at the draw. Winner must
arrange to collect the gift card from the Club.

Wests Sign Up and Win – Terms and Conditions
• Gift card terms and conditions apply.
• Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry.
• Entry into this promotion is deemed to be an acceptance of these conditions.
• Winner must be over 18 years of age to enter and must show suitable photo ID (driver’s
license or other) to collect the prize voucher.
