Entrants must be at least 16 years of age.
The Promoter may require entrants to provide proof of age in a form acceptable to the Promoter. Should an entrant be unable to satisfy this requirement, the entrant will be ineligible for the prize.
Entrants aged under 18 years must obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian to enter the promotion and provide personal information about themselves. All entries of entrants who are aged under 18 years and enter the promotion without disclosing (or attempting to conceal) their age (as and where required) and/or do not provide the required parental or guardian consent (as and where required) will be deemed invalid. These Terms of Entry will bind the entrants and any parent or legal guardian who gives their consent (for entrants aged under 18 years). If a winner is aged under 18 years, prizes will be awarded to the parent or legal guardian who consented to the winner registering in the promotion on behalf of the winner, at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
Entrants may be required to provide a nominated valid Australian bank account (or the nominated bank account of the winner’s parent/guardian if the winner is under 18 years of age), as requested by the Promoter, in the event that the entrant is a winner.
An entrant who has won prizes to the value of $10,000 or more, in any promotion(s) run by the Promoter in the previous six (6) months prior to their Entry in this promotion is ineligible to enter this promotion.
The promotion begins at 6.00pm (AEDT) on Friday 29th January 2016.
Entries into the promotion close at 2.00pm (AEDT) on Friday 5th February 2016.
Web Entry
During the Promotion Period entrants must visit the Station Website and fully complete the online entry form in the manner required, including by:
(a) providing their contact details including but not limited to full name, age, contact telephone number, address and current and valid email address and any other information requested by the Promoter (in its sole and absolute discretion); and
(b) answering the following question in 25 words or less: “Why should we put you on air with Kate, Tim & Marty?” (Answer).
Each valid entry will be individually reviewed by representatives of the Promoter (Judges) based on the Judging Criteria.
Between Monday 1st February 2016 and Friday 5th February 2016 between 2.00pm (AEST) and 4.00pm (AEST) the Judges (in their sole and absolute discretion) will:
(a) select up to ten (10) entrant/s judged to have submitted the “best” entries (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) from all valid entries submitted by 2.00pm (AEDT) that weekday during the Promotion Period (each, a Selected Entrant);
(b) contact up to ten (10) Selected Entrant/s (in the absolute and sole discretion of the Promoter) by telephone to discuss their Answer and assess their suitability for radio (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion); and
(c) inform up to ten (10) Selected Entrant/s (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) that they are on the standby list and may be invited to participate in the On Air Challenge between 4.00pm (AEDT) and 6.00pm (AEDT) that weekday (On Air Challenge).
For the avoidance of doubt, if an entrant is spoken to by a representative of the Promoter, it does not mean they have been selected as a Selected Entrant, and they may not be invited to appear on air to participate in the On Air Challenge or win a Prize.
On Air Challenge
Between Monday 1st February 2016 and Friday 5th February 2016 between 4.00pm (AEST) and 6.00pm (AEST) the Promoter’s will conduct an On Air Challenge.
Each On Air Challenge will be conducted as follows:
(a) the Promoter will have a pre-determined trivia question that will be
the ‘question of the day’ (Question);
(b) the Selected Entrant judged to have submitted the “best” entry based on the Judging Criteria from all valid entries submitted by 2.00pm (AEDT) that weekday will be called live on air and will need to answer their phone within 5 rings (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion);
(c) The Selected Entrant will then be asked the ‘trivia question of the
day’. If they provide the correct answer, they will be awarded a Prize. If they provide an incorrect answer (in the sole and absolute discretion of the Promoter), they will not be awarded a Prize.
(d) If the Selected Entrant provides an incorrect response, the Prize will jackpot. The Promoter will specify the daily Prize prior to the start of the On Air Challenge.
If for any reason a Selected Entrant is unable to be contacted, or is otherwise unable to, or declines to, appear on air, or their phone line drops out, the Promoter (at its sole and absolute discretion) may decide to replace that Selected Entrant by contacting the Selected Entrant who submitted the next ‘best’ entry (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) and inviting them to participate in the On Air Challenge on the applicable weekday. The Promoter will repeat this process until a Selected Entrant is able to be contacted and confirms their eligibility and ability to participate in the On Air Challenge on the applicable weekday.
The Promoter (in its sole and absolute discretion) may give away clues/hints to assist the Selected Entrants, however the Promoter is under no obligation to do so.
The Promoter’s decisions in regards to all On Air Challenges and the Final Challenge is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Entrants may enter the promotion as many times as they wish, however each entry must be submitted separately, must be substantially unique, must contain a different Answer, and must independently comply with these Terms of Entry.

Prizes
There are up to five (5) cash prizes to be won, each comprising of: a cash amount between $2,000 and $10,000.
For the avoidance of doubt, the cash amount awarded to each winner will depend upon the result of each On Air Challenge. The cash amount may jackpot in sums of $2,000 pending on the result from the On Air Challenge on the applicable day earlier.
For the avoidance of doubt, the total combined value of the prizes will not exceed $10,000.
Prizes will be transferred to the winner’s nominated bank account (or their parent/guardian’s nominated bank account where the winner is aged under 18 years) via electronic funds transfer.
