Ok, now it’s Yo-kai?! What is this new craze of Yo-kai Watch that my kids are now talking about?
The amazingly popular Japanese animated series has started airing weekdays on Nine Network’s GO! Channel and has quickly gained popularity with Aussie kids, especially boys aged 4-12years.
The comical animated series revolves around a young boy named Nate who obtains a special watch that uses medals to enable him to interact with the mysterious and mischievous of Yo-kai spirits which are based on Japanese folklore.
The world of Yo-kai Watch is not limited to the TV screen locally, with a fun range of toy products in-store from February, which will join the recent release of the YO-KAI WATCH video game for Nintendo. The animated series will also be released on DVD in March.
The innovative YO-KAI WATCH toy range is centred around Yo-kai and the collectible medals. The medals each represent a unique Yo-kai and can be inserted into the watch, collected in the Yo-kai Medallium Collection Book, or scanned using the Yo-kai Land app to discover new ways to adventure.
Any child that loves collectables will be excited to discover a unique new range and experience the playful world of Yo-kai.
YO-KAI WATCH toys will retail through all good retailers from February 2016.
