Audiences are promised a performance to keep them awake when they see Lily Can’t Sleep at the Redland Performing Arts Centre at 10.30am on Saturday, April 30.
Mixing mega fun word play with fantastic physical comedy, this sweet and imaginative piece of theatre take the audience on an adventure to a land where anything is possible.
Whether yours is a child who is a dream to get to sleep or one that makes Lily’s night time troubles look like a breeze, you will love this gorgeous production.
Lily is having trouble getting to sleep as she has just moved house and is about to start a new school. She has a lot on her mind. Then Baarbara the all-singing, all-dancing woolly entertainer comes along to help Lily dream up ways to put what’s worrying her to bed.
Lily Can’t Sleep is brought by the same cracker team who brought Hurry Up and Wait to the RPAC stage last year. The premier production was co-produced with Queensland Theatre Company and Queensland Performing Arts Centre for Out of the Box Festival for Children and played to rave reviews.
