COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Entry into the MOTHER’S DAY Premium Private Screening Experience Competition (“Competition”) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Instructions on how to enter also form part of these Terms and Conditions.
2. For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter is Katies Pty Ltd ABN 43 057 569 169 of Specialty Fashion Group, 151-163 Wyndham Street, Alexandria NSW
2015 (“Promoter”)
3. Entry is open to Katies Style Rewards Club (“Promotion Partner”) customers, who are aged 18 years and older, who are living in Australia (excluding employees of the Promoter and associated agencies and companies, and their immediate families) (“Entrant”). For the purposes of this clause, “immediate families” of an employee includes his or her spouse, ex-spouse, de facto spouse, child, step child, adopted child, parent, step-parent, grandparent, uncle, aunt, siblings, step-siblings, or first cousin.
4. The Competition commences at 7.00am AEST on 19 April 2016 and ends at 11.59pm AEST on 28 April 2016 (“Competition Period”). Entries received outside the Competition Period will not be accepted by the Promoter and will be deemed to be invalid.
How to enter:
5. This Competition is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the Winner.
6. To enter this Competition, Entrants must provide their details, including first name, surname, email, phone number and address, at http://www.studiocanaltix.com.au/CelebrateMOTHERSDAYwithKaties during the Competition Period and answer the questions, in 25 words or fewer, “How would you treat your Mum for Mother's Day?” (“Entry”).
7. An Entrant’s Entry will be invalid if the Promoter deems it to be late, inappropriate, incomplete, incomprehensible, unlawful, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially or ethically offensive, capable of encouraging conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, capable of violating any law or giving rise to any civil liability.
8. Entrants are entitled to only one (1) Entry to the Competition.
9. All Entries may be uploaded onto the Promoter or Promotion Partner’s website. Entries may also be displayed on the Promoter or Promotion Partner’s Facebook page, Instagram account, or any other social media platform and in any digital communications.
10. Any Entry that is made on behalf of an Entrant by a third party, or otherwise by proxy, will be invalid.
11. Judging of all valid Entries received within the Competition Period will be conducted by a panel of judges at StudioCanal of Level 50, 680 George St Sydney NSW 2000, in conjunction with the Promoter on 28 April 2016. The winning Entry will be selected based on merit, creativity and whether they meet the criterion outlined above in condition 6. The judges’ decision is final and binding on all Entrants and no discussion or correspondence will be entered into.
12. There will be one (1) Winner in total.
13. The one (1) Entrant who submits the winning Entry (“Winner”) will be awarded the following Major Prize:
a. MOTHER’S DAY Premium Private Screening Experience – 1 x private screening of MOTHER’S DAY for the Winner and twenty (20) friends, including small popcorn and bottle of water, to be held on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday during the film’s theatrical season and in accordance with cinema availability (“Major Prize”). The Winner may nominate their preferred cinema location with a premium screening facility such as Gold Class, Lux or Director’s Suite; if their preferred cinema is unavailable then another cinema location will be allocated based on the Winner’s location. The Winner is responsible for any transport, accommodation or other expenses related to the Major Prize. If the Winner does not have a cinema with a premium screening facility nearby, they can choose the Alternative Prize of 11 in-season Admit 2 tickets to MOTHER’S DAY, to be used at their discretion during the film’s theatrical season, and a $250 gift voucher valid at the candy bar (“Alternative Prize”). The Major Prize is valued at a grand total of AUD$2500. The Alternative Major Prize value is $690.
14. The Admit 2 tickets are valid from 28 April 2016 until season completion. Admit 2 tickets are: Not valid public holidays, cinemas discount days and Saturdays after 5pm.Valid even with “No Free Tickets”. This ticket must be taken as offered & is not transferable, for sale, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Seating is subject to availability. This pass does not guarantee admission. Not valid at Village Cinemas Gold Class, VMAX or special event sessions, EVENT Cinemas Gold Class, VMAX and 3D, Greater Union and Birch Carroll & Coyle Cinemas Gold Class, VMAX and 3D, Reading Cinemas Gold Lounge, 3D or Titan XC, Hoyts La Premiere, Directors Suite, Bean Bag Cinema, Xtremescreen or IMAX. Not valid at Nova Deluxe, Hayden Orpheum Cremorne, United Cinemas Avalon, Collaroy or Warriewood, Roseville Cinemas, State Cinema Hobart or Regal Twin Graceville. Not valid at Dendy Lounge or Dendy Premium Lounge Cinemas.
15. The Major Prize value is based upon the recommended retail prices (inclusive of GST). The Promoter and Promotion Partner do not accept any responsibility for a change in Major Prize value.
16. If you are the Winner:
a. You may not transfer the Major Prize to anyone or ask for any alternative Major Prize
(including cash) other than the Alternative Prize stipulated in condition 13a.
b. The Promoter may replace the Major Prize with another Major Prize of equal value in
the unlikely event that the Major Prize becomes unavailable.
17. If you are not able to take the Major Prize or Alternative Prize as stated, you will forfeit the Major Prize and Alternative Prize and no payment or compensation will be made in lieu.
Once the Major Prize has left the premises of the Promoter, responsibility for any damage, delay or loss to the Major Prize during transit will pass to you.
19. The Promoter may ask you to provide proof of your age, identity and residency, and to sign any required documentation including release forms as a condition of claiming the Major Prize.
20. You are responsible for all expenses and taxes connected to your participation in the Competition and not included in the Major Prize.
21. If requested by the Promoter or Promotion Partner, the Winner may be required and must agree to be filmed during the presentation of the Prize. The Winner hereby grants to Promoter and Promotion Partner the right to issue, and authorise others to issue, publicity concerning the Winner, and the right to use Winner’s name (including any professional name or sobriquet adopted by Winner), likeness and biographical data in connection with the promotion of the Competition.
22. The Winner will be notified via the contact details provided upon entry into the Competition. The promoter will liaise with the Winner directly via phone or email to co-ordinate Major Prize redemption and confirm details for the Major Prize film screening.
23. If the Winner is unable to be contacted within seven (7) days of the draw a redraw will occur. In the event that a redraw is required it will be held at the same place as the original draw and the redraw Winner will be notified via the contact details provided upon entry into the Competition.
24. By entering this Competition each Entrant warrants to the Promoter that their submitted Entry is an original work of the Entrant, has not been previously published or won any award and does not contain any material which would infringe the rights of any third party, including any copyright, trademark or other third party intellectual property rights. The Entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoter and keep the Promoter indemnified against all claims and costs incurred by third parties arising from a breach of the warranties set out in this clause.
25. Each Entrant assigns all proprietary rights (including any intellectual property rights) they have in their Entry to the Promoter. Each Entrant acknowledges and agrees that their Entry becomes the property of the Promoter and the Promoter has the right to alter the design and use the Entry across any communication or marketing platform owned or used by the Promoter. The Promoter is entitled to use any of the submitted Entries for any purpose, including (but not limited to) any future promotion, marketing or publicity purposes.
26. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of Entries and Entrants (including an Entrant’s identity, age, and place of residence) and to disqualify an Entrant who submits and Entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who interferes or tampers with the Entry process or if the Entrant engaged in any unlawful or other misconduct calculated to jeopardize the fair and proper conduct of the Competition. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
27. Despite anything to the contrary in these Terms and Conditions, errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoters complete discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
