We’re excited to announce IKEA Australia is partnering with MasterChef Australia. We'll be sharing life-at-home expertise with the contestant house, while showcasing our dinnerware in contestant challenges. To celebrate, we’re giving an IKEA FAMILY member and a friend the opportunity to win a money-can’t-buy MasterChef dining experience at an exclusive restaurant run by a chef who previously featured in the MasterChef series.

To go into the draw to win the ultimate MasterChef dining experience, simply swipe or scan your IKEA FAMILY membership number when you make a purchase in our cookware or tableware departments from 18 April – 17 July 2016.


Terms & Conditions:

1. Information on how to enter & prizes form part of these Terms & Conditions. Any entry not complying with these Terms & Conditions is invalid. Entry into the promotion is deemed to be an acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

2. Entry is open to residents of NSW, ACT, VIC & QLD, who are 18 years of age or over.

Directors, management and employees of the Promoter and its related companies are not eligible to enter this promotion. Whilst employees of the Promoter may not enter, the immediate family of employees are eligible to enter.
3. The promotion commences at 9.30am (AEST) on 18/04/2016 & closes at 11.59pm (AEST) on 17/07/2016 (“Promotion Period”).
4. To be eligible for entry in a draw, participants must during the Promotion Period visit a participating IKEA store, swipe or scan their IKEA FAMILY Card at point of purchase and make a purchase in either the cookware or tableware departments (“eligible entry”). Participating stores and locations are;

5. Multiple entries are permitted. Eligible entrants will receive one entry into the relevant draw in accordance with Condition 4. No minimum spend required. Any product returned that was purchased during the Promotion Period will not receive an entry in the draw.
6. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
7. There will be four (4) draws. The draws will take place at 2pm (AEST) on 20/07/2016 at the offices of MDSA, Ground Floor, 15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay NSW 2089.
8. Draw 1
The first eligible entry drawn from NSW entries will win an experience for 2 people at Icebergs, 1 Notts Avenue, Bondi Beach NSW 2026. The prize is valued at a maximum of $736 and includes:
 2 x glasses Perrier-Jouët Champagne
 10g caviar
 Half a dozen oysters
 Tasting menu with matching wines
 2 x Icebergs signed books
 Chat and tour with Monty Koludrovic
 Prepaid Visa Debit Card with a $50 credit to spend towards transport to/from restaurant
Draw 2
The first eligible entry drawn from ACT entries will win an experience for 2 people at Biota Dining, 18 Kangaloon Road, Bowral NSW 2578. The prize is valued at a maximum of $809.90 and includes:
 Twin share accommodation (midweek stay Monday-Thursday) and 7 course tasting menu, with matching wines
 2 x Biota books signed by James Viles
 Breakfast box
 Botanical spritz on arrival and a tour of the gardens
Transport is not included and is the responsibility of the winner and their guest. Draw 3
The first eligible entry drawn from VIC entries will win an experience for 2 people at The Press Club, 72 Flinders Street, Melbourne VIC 3000. The prize is valued at a maximum of $850 and includes:
 Cocktail demonstration
 9 course dinner with matching wines
 Kitchen tour and a meet and greet with the chef on the pass, if he/she is available.
 2 x The Press Club signed cookbook
 Prepaid Visa Debit Card with a $50 credit to spend towards transport to/from restaurant
Draw 4
The first eligible entry drawn from QLD entries will win an experience for 2 people at Gerard’s Bistro, 14/15 James Street, Fortitude Valley QLD 4006. The prize is valued at a maximum of $450 and includes:
 Dinner with matching wines
 Prepaid Visa Debit Card with a $50 credit to spend towards transport to/from restaurant
 If the dinner experience is scheduled on a night that Head Chef Ben Williamson is
scheduled to be in the kitchen, he will join the winner & their guest discussing the menu, his inspiration, philosophy, etc. This is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
9. The total maximum prizepool value is $2,845.90.
10. Winners will be notified in writing & telephone, within 2 business days of the draws, using the winners’ details included on their IKEA FAMILY membership (the Promoter takes no responsibility for any incorrect details included in an entrant’s account). Winners’ details will be published on the IKEA webpage http://www.IKEA.com.au on 22/07/2016 for a period of 28 days and they will be announced in The Australian newspaper on 27/07/2016.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw a prize in the event of any entrant being unable to satisfy these competition conditions or forfeiting or not claiming a prize. If any prize remains
unclaimed or forfeited through ineligibility or otherwise, the Promoter will conduct further draws, as required, at the same time & place as the original draws on 21/10/2016. The winners, if any, will be notified in writing & telephone, within 2 business days of the draws and their details will be published on http://www.IKEA.com.au on 25/10/2016 for a period of 28 days and they will be announced in The Australian newspaper on 28/10/2016.
12. Prizes are not transferable & cannot be taken as cash. The prizes must be taken as described and no compensation will be payable if a winner & their guest are unable to use the prize as described (the guest must be 18 years of age or older). Prizes cannot be transferred to any other person, unless agreed to by the Promoter. The prizes are valid until 16/12/2016 and dates are subject to availability at the time of booking. Any element of a prize that is unused will be forfeited.
13. The Promoter encourages consumers to enjoy alcohol in moderation. Legal aged consumers are advised to consider the 'low risk drinking' guideline recommended in the National Health and Medical Research Council Australian Guidelines To Reduce Health Risks from Drinking Alcohol (available at https://www.nhmrc.gov.au/guidelines-publications/ds10). The promotion is subject to relevant liquor legislation (including responsible service of alcohol) in each applicable State or Territory. Consumers are also encouraged to visit the Australian Government’s information site for alcohol at www.alcohol.gov.au
14. Prize values are correct at time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of any prize.
15. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
16. Any tax liability arising as a result of accepting any prize is the responsibility of the winner.
17. Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
18. In the event that any prize item is unavailable despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure it, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a different prize item of equal or greater value, subject to state regulations.
19. The winners agree that the Promoter may use their name and photographs of them for publicity and promotional purposes, without compensation, and that the Promoter will own copyright in any such photographs and in all material incorporating the photographs.
20. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned (whether caused by infection by computer virus, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the promotion), the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
21. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
22. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
23. By entering the promotion, each entrant agrees in addition to the above uses, that the Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information, to State and Territory lottery departments, the winners’ names will be published as required under the relevant lottery legislation and the Promoter may publish or cause to be published the winners’ names and suburb in any media.
