The Music presents a super special Sydney Film Festival screening of Janis: Little Girl Blue, a documentary about the American singer-songwriter Janis Joplin.
Narrated by Cat Power, featuring musicians such as Juliette Lewis and Pink, and boasting archival footage featuring the likes of Jimi Hendrix and John Lennon, the documentary tells the story of the lauded 1960s rock icon, cut short in 1970 when the 27-year-old Joplin died of a heroin overdose.
