To celebrate our new partnership with The Truffle Farm, The Kitchen Company Canberra is giving away an amazing truffle hunt and delicious six course truffle lunch to one lucky winner and five of their friends.
Learn about the history of the farm and watch the truffle dogs in action as they seek out the perfect truffle. Then return to the truffle shed and taste the extraordinary dishes prepared by Chef Damian Brabender in our beautiful kitchen, using this highly prized delicacy.

1 Information on how to enter and the prize form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

3 Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Only one (1) entry per individual will be accepted.
4 Employees (and their immediate family members) of the Promoter and agencies associated with the promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family members means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step- grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or
5 The promotion commences on Thursday, 2 June 2016 and final entries close at 11:59pm (AEST) on Thursday, 16 June 2016.
6 (a) To enter the Promotion, Entrants are required to either: (i) complete all details requested on the entry form at
www.thekitchenco.com.au including name, email address and contact phone number; or (ii) complete an entry form at The Kitchen Company showroom (1/4 Wiluna Street, Fyshwick ACT 2609) including name, email address and contact phone number. 25 words or less the question posed on the entry form. (b) In addition to the above, Entrants are required to apply skill in describing in (c) All entries must be completed during the Promotion Period.
7 Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promotion database and not at the time of transmission by the Entrant.
8 No responsibility is accepted for entries not received by the Promoter. Furthermore, incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
9 The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition. The Promoters legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
10 If for any reason the competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
11 If there is a dispute as to the identity of an Entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the Entrant.
12 Judging will be completed by an internal marketing panel at The Kitchen Company at 12:00pm (AEST) on Friday, 17 June 2016 at 1/4 Wiluna Street, Fyshwick ACT 2609
13 The competition is a game of skill and as such, chance plays no part in determining the winner. The winning entry will be selected based on the creativity of the answer submitted.
14 The judges’ decision is final and binding. As such, no correspondence will be entered into.
15 The winner will be notified by phone and email by Friday, 17 June 2016, and their name and suburb will be published at
www.thekitchenco.com.au on Saturday, 18 June 2016.
16 The winner will win a truffle hunt and six course lunch for six (6) people on Saturday, 25 June 2016 (1:00pm) at The Truffle Farm Canberra, 23 Mount Majura Road, Majura ACT 2609.
17 The prize is valid for the date of Saturday, 25 June 2016 and is subject to any terms and conditions imposed by The Truffle Farm Canberra. Once awarded, the Promoter is not liable for any prize that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way.
18 Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize are not included (e.g. travel expenses to the venue).
19 If for any reason the winner does not take the prize by the date stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited. No refund or cash compensation will be
20 If the prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
21 The total prize value is $1,080 (inclusive of GST).
22 The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferrable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
23 Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome) and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
24 The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
25 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Australian Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories
26 The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
27 Each Entrant's personal information is collected to enable the Promoter to administer and promote this Competition and the winner. The personal information of the winner may be provided to third parties who are assisting the Promoter, including prize suppliers, deliverers and authorities that regulate competitions. Entrants who fail to provide all requested personal information, may be determined by the Promoter, at its sole discretion, to be ineligible to win the prize. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
28 The collection, use and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this promotion is further governed by the Privacy Policy found at
www.thekitchenco.com.au.
29 The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, corruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer networks and systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination of them, including any injury or damage to any entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Competition.
30 By entering the Promotion and providing an email address, the Entrant also consents to receipt of any email regarding the Promotion and other emails which inform the entrant of the Promoters’ products, services and events.
