Lychee lounge, is located at 2/94 Boundary Street in the West End and the new owner, Peter Bierton, has plans to make it the premier cocktail venue in town.
Guests are invited to escape in the bar’s quirky surrounds. Custom, locally designed chandeliers, fish scaled walls and a dome ceiling capture the spirit of East meets West against an urban backdrop.
New lounge manager Thomas Ham has worked at the venue for five years and recently launched an entirely new cocktail and food menu that he claims “screams a whole new world of taste sensation”.
You have a range of dining options whether you’re eating alone, with a friend or in a group. Choose from an exciting range of housemade tapas items, including the handmade dumplings, sizzling king prawns, chicken skewers with wasabi infused sesame seeds and many more. Also on offer on Mondays, are 1kg of chicken wings for $10 with any tap beer purchase. There are bar plates, sliders or try a share board when enjoying a drink with friends. If you prefer you can customise a canape or sushi platter to share.
The new cocktail menu has 39 new cocktails (with traditional cocktails available too) including the fig and cashew infusions which were all created by Thomas.
