HIPPO! HIPPO! A BIG NEW Musical Adventure! is based on the children’s classic There’s a Hippopotamus on Our Roof Eating Cake by Hazel Edwards. It tells the story of a little girl and her large imaginary Hippopotamus friend. Thanks to this friend, the girl is able to allay her fears and gain confidence in her adolescence years.
Brought to you by Garry Ginivan, award-winning producer of children’s musical theatre (Possum Magic, My Grandma Lived in Gooligulch, Wombat Stew and The Eggscellent Adventures of Stripey the Emu Chick), HIPPO! HIPPO! A BIG NEW Musical! will make you laugh and cry with the help of beautiful storytelling, music, song, dance and imagery.

Please select a session in the entry form (subject to availability). The tickets will need to be collected from the theatre's box office on the day, at least one hour prior to the session by showing a photo ID.
