In case the title didn’t give it away, this spoof on Fifty Shades of Grey sees Wayans playing Christian Black, a millionaire control freak that introduces shy college student Hannah (Kali Hawk) to his world of “romance.”
The trailer below will give you a hint of the raunchy, over-the-top humour to expect going in, which you’ll no doubt be aware of if you’ve seen Wayans’ other spoofs. The overly sensitive needn’t apply; those that like their humour crude, are aching to see that popular book and its adaptation mocked, and love Wayans, this one’s for you.
Fifty Shades of Black, rated R 18+ for high impact crude sexual references and nudity, will be available on DVD and Digital from June 29.
An outrageously raunchy comedy, Fifty Shades of Black follows millionaire control freak Christian Black (Marlon Wayans: The A Haunted House series) as he introduces shy college student Hannah Steele (Kali Hawk: Bridesmaids) to the world of “romance” after she interviews him for her school newspaper. Their hilariously kinky relationship tumbles forward despite Christian’s spectacular short comings as a lover and the over-the-top antics of his cluelessly racist adoptive mother Claire (Jane Seymour: Wedding Crashers), his extremely well-endowed brother Eli (Affion Crockett: Pixels) and Hannah’s hyper-sexual room mate Kateesha (Jenny Zigrino).
