Perfect Mutti Dish Promotion

Game of Skill Terms & Conditions

1. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry. Entry is only open to
residents of Australia who are 18 years of age and older, and whose entry is deemed valid and
accepted by the Promoter.

Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter or agencies associated with this
Promotion are ineligible to enter, Participants with professional culinary training are also ineligible
to enter. “Immediate family” means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child
or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent,
uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
(“Eligible Entrants”).

2. The Promotion commences at 12.01am (AEST) on 13 June 2016 and closes at 11.59pm
(Sydney time) on 7 August 2016 (“Promotion Period”).

3. To enter, Eligible Entrants must log on to www.muttiperfectdish.com.au, upload their perfect
recipe containing a Mutti product, a photo of their dish , a brief explanation as to why their dish is
the perfect Mutti dish and their personal contact details. Once the entry has been successfully
uploaded, each Eligible Entrant will be issued a Recipe Card that may be shared on the Entrant’s
Facebook page, and also on the Mutti Facebook site at,
https://www.facebook.com/MuttiPomodoroAustralia/ during the Promotion Period.
Multiple entries are permitted.

This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. Each entry will be
individually judged on aptness and creative merit by the judging panel appointed by the Promoter.
The Promoter’s decision will be final in all matters of the Promotion, and no correspondence will be
entered into.

Any entry that contains content that the Promoter, in its sole discretion, considers to be offensive
or inappropriate in any way or that the Promoter considers, in its sole discretion, to infringe any
intellectual property rights or other rights of any person, corporation or entity, will be considered
ineligible. The decision to accept or reject an entry is at the Promoter’s sole discretion.

The Promoter, its affiliates and agents are not responsible in any way for the content or
descriptions included by entrants, nor do they necessarily endorse the content or descriptions.

Entries received must be the original work of the entrant. Any and all responsibility for the
originality of an entry lies with the entrant. Entries received during the Promotion Period will be
individually moderated by representatives of the Promoter to ensure content posted is not illegal,
threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellectual property rights, indecent,
libellous, hateful, obscene, or otherwise injurious to third parties or are otherwise objectionable.

4. No responsibility will be taken by the Promoter for any ineligible or lost entries or entries
submitted or received by the Promoter after the closing date. Entries that do not comply with these
terms and conditions, are incomplete, or submitted or received by the Promoter after the closing
date will be declared void.

5. Phase 1 – Judging Semi Finalists: A panel of Judges appointed by the Promoter will conduct a
judging from all Eligible Entries at 7 Franklyn Street Glebe NSW 2037 at 12.00pm (AEST) on 12
August 2016. The 15 Semi Finalists will be the entrants who submitted the most apt and creative
recipes, in the opinion of the Judges, of all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.
Semi Finalists will be contacted in writing via the email address included in their entry within 2
business days of the judging, and announced on
https://www.facebook.com/MuttiPomodoroAustralia/ and/or www.muttiperfectdish.com.au on 15
August 2016.

Phase 2: All Semi Finalists will be invited to enter Phase 2 of the promotion by submitting a
maximum 30 second video of themselves explaining why their recipe is important to them and why
it is the perfect Mutti based recipe. Videos are to be submitted to natalie.craig@thehallway.com.au
between 9.00am (AEST) on 15 August 2016 and 5.00pm (AEST) on 19 August 2016.
A panel of Judges appointed by the Promoter will conduct the judging from all eligible Semi Finalist
entries at 7 Franklyn Street Glebe NSW 2037 at 12.00pm (AEST) on 22 August 2016. The three

(3) finalists will be the entrants who submit the best on camera presentation on why their recipe is
important to them and why it is the perfect Mutti based recipe, in the opinion of the judges.
The 3 Finalists will be contacted by phone and in writing via the email address included in their
entry within 2 business days of the judging, and announced on
https://www.facebook.com/MuttiPomodoroAustralia/ and/or www.muttiperfectdish.com.au on 23
August 2016.

Phase 3: To be eligible for entry in Phase 3, each Finalist must be available to be in Sydney the
week commencing 29th August 2016, and/or the week commencing 5th September 2016, to cook
their Mutti recipe for the judging panel, and be an Australian resident with a valid passport
containing a minimum 6 months validity from the date of travel to Italy (for the Major Prize winner).
Each finalist will be flown to Sydney (if required), on a date to be confirmed by the Promoter, to
prepare and cook their recipe for Mutti representative Massimo Mele, and the judging panel, at a
location to be determined by the Promoter.

One return economy airfare from each Finalist’s nearest Australian capital city to Sydney (if
required. Flight associated taxes are included) and one night’s accommodation in a 4 star property
of the Promoter’s choice and transfers in Sydney, all recipe ingredients will be provided.

The Major Prize winner will be determined based on the quality of the dish prepared on the day,
on-camera presentation which includes why the recipe is the perfect Mutti dish, and the ability to
embody the Mutti brand essence, in the opinion of the judges.

The Major Prize winner and two (2) Runner Up winners will be notified on the day, and will be
contacted by phone and in writing via the contact details included in their entry within 2 business
days of the judging. The Major Prize winner and two (2) Runner Up winners will also be announced
on https://www.facebook.com/MuttiPomodoroAustralia/ and/or www.muttiperfectdish.com.au, and
in The Australian newspaper by Friday 16 September 2016.

6. The result of each judging is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. Prizes

The Major Prize winner will receive;

• Two (2) x return economy airfares from winner's nearest capital city to Rome, Italy;

• Two (2) nights twin share accommodation in Rome in a minimum 4-star hotel with breakfast
for two (2) people daily;

• Return transfers for two (2) people from Rome airport to hotel in Rome;

• A seven (7) day and six (6) night all inclusive cooking class in Tuscany for two (2) people
which includes:

I. Six (6) nights twin share accommodation in a minimum 4 star
equivalent lodging;

II. Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily;

III. Cooking lessons for two (2) people;

IV. Tours for two (2) people;

V. Rail transfers (from Rome to Pisa Central Railway Station in
Tuscany) for two (2) people;

VI. Transfers (from Pisa Central Railway Station to Toscana
Saporita Cooking School) for two (2) people;

VII. Taxes; and

VIII. Tips and gratuities;

• AU $500 spending money for the winner only; and

• Basic travel insurance for a period of up to ten (10) days for two (2) people.

Tuscan Cooking School – First class date available at the Tuscan cooking school is the week of
23rd - 29th April 2017. Last available week to book and attend the cooking school is 22nd to 28th
October 2017. Classes booked any week during that period are subject to availability. No cooking
school classes are available during August 2017. The Promoter is not responsible if the cooking
school is unavailable or at maximum capacity at the time of submitting dates of travel.
Travel dates must be submitted to the Promoter’s representative by Monday 28th November, 2016.
Total maximum retail value of the Major Prize is $13,000AUD

Each Runner Up will receive;

• One return economy airfare from the winner’s nearest Australian capital city to Sydney (if
required. Flight associated taxes are included)

• One night’s accommodation in a 4 star property of the promoter’s choice and transfers in Sydney
will be provided.

• Chauffeured car service for Runners-up and Massimo Mele to the Sydney food markets and
restaurant (to be determined by the Promoter)

• 1.5-3 hour cooking experience with Massimo Mele

• Travelcard loaded with $200AUD spending money
Both of the Runner Up Prizes will be arranged to coincide on the same day, on a date to be agreed
by the Runner Up winners, Massimo Mele and the Promoter.
Maximum value of each Runner Up Prize is $6,000. Total value of both Runner Up Prizes is
$12,000.

Total maximum prize pool value is $25,000

8. All prize elements are subject to availability and their individual Terms & Conditions. Prizes must
be taken by 28th October, 2017.

9. The Promoter will arrange all elements of the Prizes. Prize supplier conditions apply.

10. Once bookings have been made, no change of dates is permitted.

11. The Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other goods or
services. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value, performance, or
availability of a Prize. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the advertised Prize for a Prize
of equivalent or greater retail value if, for any reason beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter
is not able to give the Prize winner the advertised Prize, subject to State regulations. Incidental
costs relating to the Prize are the responsibility of the winner (& their guest in the case of the Major
Prize).
 
If the Major Prize Winner decides to take a companion under the age of 18, the Major Prize Winner
must accompany their companion during the entire duration of the prize.

The Major Prize Winner (and their companion) must depart from and return to the same departure
point and travel together.

Itinerary to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
Frequent flyer points will not form part of the Major or Runner-Up Prizes. The prize is subject to the
standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. The winner may be
required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in.

12. Unless specified, the prize winners (and their guest in the case of the Major Prize) are
responsible for all other expenses including travel, spending money, meals, drinks, transfers,
laundry charges, activities, hotel car parking, other hotel incidentals/in room costs, ground
transportation, taxes that are not included in the price of the ticket, related insurance, gratuities,
service charges, travel insurance (unless specified), optional activities or excursions, merchandise
or any other costs of a related, ancillary or incidental nature and all other ancillary costs. Unless
expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other travel and Prize related expenses become
the responsibility of the winner.

13. If a Prize is not taken by the specified validity dates, outlined in clause 8, the prize will become
void and the Promoter will be under no obligation to extend the time by which the prize can be
taken nor to provide the prize winner with any alternative prize or compensation of any kind.

14. If for any reason a winner does not take an element of a Prize, and on the conditions
stipulated by the Promoter (and those of any prize supplier), then that element of the prize will be
forfeited and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.

15. The Promoter reserves the right to conduct a rejudging in the event that a Prize remains
unclaimed or forfeited, following the same procedure and format as set out under condition 5 of
these Terms & Conditions. Any rejudging will take place at 12.00pm (AEST) on 14 November
2016, and any winner/s will be contacted by phone and in writing via the email address included in
their entry within 2 business days of the rejudging, and announced on
https://www.facebook.com/MuttiPomodoroAustralia/ and/or www.muttiperfectdish.com.au on 21
November 2016.

16. The Promoter, other entities associated with this competition and their related bodies
corporate, and each of their officers, employees and agents shall not be liable for and shall be held
harmless in respect of any loss, damage, or injury whatsoever which is suffered (including but not
limited to direct or consequential loss) or sustained, as a result of or arising from the winner’s
acceptance and use of a prize or, participation in any stage of the judging process, except to the
extent that any such liability cannot be excluded by law.

If any portion of the Major Prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the
right to substitute the Prize, or any element of the Prize, for an element of similar theme and of
equal value, subject to State regulation and subsequent approval. The Promoter is not responsible
for any cancellation, postponement, delay or rescheduling of any element of the Prize. Any costs,
without limitation, incurred, will be the sole responsibility of the Prize Winner.

In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster or any other circumstance beyond the
control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to either provide an alternative travel
destination to the same value as the original Major Prize or, subject to any applicable laws or
written directions made under applicable legislation, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the
promotion. The Promoter and any associated companies involved in the Promotion, make no
representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at the Major Prize
destination. It is the sole responsibility of the Winner and their travel companion, to first check with
all government travel advisory information regarding the safety and any other situation at the Major
Prize destination.

17. Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. Acceptance of the prize is deemed to be
acceptance by the winner of these terms and conditions and approval to use the winner’s name
and photograph for publicity purposes, unless specifically requested by the winner not to do so at
the time of accepting the prize.

All entries become the property of the Promoter and may be communicated to the public by the
Promoter or used for promotional purposes, subject to the Promoter’s privacy policy. By entering
the Promotion, the Prize winner agrees to the use of their name, image, audio-visual recording,
written content and/or photograph/s, without compensation.

18. Entrants acknowledge that all content posted on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram must be in
accordance with their applicable terms.

This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with,
Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Entrants are providing their information to the Promoter and not
to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Each Entrant completely releases Facebook, Twitter and
Instagram from any and all liability.

19. If the competition does not run for its duration due to, but not limited to, computer viruses,
tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the
Promoter’s control that corrupts or affects administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of
the competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify
or suspend the competition or disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. The
Promoter will not be responsible for: Malfunction, delay or traffic congestion on any telephone
network or line, computer on-line system, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or
website; Failure of any entry to be received by the Promoter as a result of those matters; nor any
injury or damage to entrants or any other person related to or resulting from participation in the
competition or downloading any materials relating to the competition.
