CINE LATINO: A New Festival of Latin American Cinema is launching this month across Australia exclusively through Palace Cinemas and with it comes a bounty of films from 11 countries including Pablo Larrain’s Neruda (Chile), Sérgio Machado’s The Violin Teacher (Brazil), Daniel Rodríguez Risco’s terrifying The Womb (Peru) and Irene Gutiérrez’s critically acclaimed documentary Hotel Nueva Isla (Cuba). The calendar is an explosion of 30 films as vibrant and exotic as the countries they originate from and to celebrate Palace Cinemas and The Lowdown Under are giving you the chance to win one of ten double passes** to the festival when it commences it Australian journey from August 9, 2016!

The program brings together the best new films from Mexico, Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, Cuba, Uruguay, Colombia, Venezuela, Chile, Guatemala and Puerto Rico. Designed to provide Australian audiences with the chance to experience the sights, sounds and stories of Latin America, CINE LATINO will showcase over 30 films this August exclusively at Palace Cinemas nationally.
