Entrants aged under 18 years must obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian to enter the promotion and provide personal information about themselves. All entries of entrants who are under the age of 18 years and enter the promotion without disclosing (or attempting to conceal) their age (as and where required) and/or do not provide the required parental or guardian consent (as and where required) will be deemed invalid. These Terms of Entry will bind the entrants and any parent or legal guardian who gives their consent (for entrants aged under 18 years). If the winner is aged under 18 years, prizes will be awarded to the parent or legal guardian who consented to the winner registering in the promotion on behalf of the winner, at the sole discretion of the Promoter, and that parent or legal guardian must accompany the winner for the duration of the prize (if applicable).
Entrants must provide a nominated valid Australian bank account (or the nominated bank account of the winner’s parent/guardian if the winner is under 18 years of age) as requested by the Promoter, in the event that the entrant is a winner.
Entrants must nominate a personal contact number being either a personal mobile number or home phone number (and not a business number) to be eligible for the prize (Personal Contact Number).
By entering the Promotion, an entrant grants the Promoter the right to call that entrant on their Personal Contact Number live on air.
Entrants in the Promotion must be able to receive a phone call from a representative of the Promoter (on their Personal Contact Number, as defined above) between 12:00PM AEST and 10:00PM AEST between Monday 22nd August 2016 and Friday 26th August, 2016 and in accordance with the requirements outlined in the Entry Method to be eligible to be awarded the prize.
If the entrant does not answer their phone by the time that phone goes to a message bank, the entrant consents to the Promoter broadcasting that entrant's voicemail message including their full name and/or business name live on air.
Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that their whole voicemail message may be broadcast on-air during the Promotion Period.
Each entrant warrants that they have received all consents from third parties that may ordinarily answer their Personal Contact Number in the entrant's absence to be broadcast live on-air if that third party answers the relevant phone live on-air. If a third party answers an entrant's Personal Contact Number, that entrant will not be eligible for a prize as determined by the Promoter in its absolute and sole discretion.
An entrant who has won prizes to the value of $10,000 or more, in any promotion(s) run by the Promoter in the previous six (6) months prior to their Entry in this promotion is ineligible to enter this promotion.
The Promotion begins at 5:00pm AEST on Friday 19th August 2016.
Entries into the Promotion close at 2:00pm AEST on Friday 26th August 2016.
Online Entry
During the Promotion Period entrants will be invited via Station on-air commercials to visit the Station Website and fully complete the online entry form in the manner required, including by providing their full name, mobile telephone number, current and valid email address, age, state, and answering in 25 words or less the question “why do you deserve a shopping spree?”
Each valid entry will be individually reviewed by representatives of the Promoter (Judges) based on the Judging Criteria.
Each weekday during the Promotion Period between 12:00pm AEST and 10:00pm AEST the Judges (in their sole and absolute discretion) will:
a) select up to 10 entrants judged to have submitted the ‘best’ entries based on the Judging Criteria (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) from all valid entries submitted by 2:00pm that day during the Promotion Period (each, a Selected Entrant);
b) contact up to 10 Selected Entrant/s (in the absolute and sole discretion of the Promoter) by telephone and place them on the standby list for that day.
c) invite the Selected Entrant who submitted the ‘best’ online entry (based on the Judging Criteria) that day to appear on air to participate in the On Air Challenge between 12:00pm AEST and 10:00pm AEST that day (Challenger).
On Air Challenge
(a) the Challenger will be played a pre-recorded audio file of a different pre-determined duration (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) that will contain a voice-over stating various cash amounts (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) in ascending order (Audio);
(b) the Challenger will be invited to yell out ‘stop’ before the Audio finishes (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion);
(c) if the Challenger does not yell out ‘stop’ before the Audio finishes (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) that Challenger will not be awarded the Major Prize but will be awarded a Minor Prize (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) and the On Air Challenge will conclude for that relevant contesting spot;
(d) if the Challenger successfully yells out ‘stop’ before the Audio finishes (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) that Challenger will be awarded a Minor Prize and a Major Prize, being cash to the value of the last dollar amount announced on-air by the Audio prior to the Challenger yelling out ‘stop’ (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion);
(e) for the avoidance of doubt, all decisions in relation to the relevant On Air Challenge and the cash amount to be awarded as a Major Prize to a Contestant in any On Air Challenge are in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion.
(f) The Promoter may, in its absolute and sole discretion, broadcast hints regarding the cash amount awarded on-air, on television and online but it is under no obligation to do so.
If for any reason a Challenger is unable to be contacted, or is otherwise unable to, or declines to, appear on air, or their phone line drops out, the Promoter (at its sole and absolute discretion) may decide to replace that Challenger by contacting another entrant and inviting them to participate in the On-Air Challenge as a Challenger. The Promoter will repeat this process until an entrant is able to be contacted and confirms their eligibility and ability to participate in the On-Air Challenge as a Challenger.
For the avoidance of doubt, if an entrant is spoken to by a representative of the Promoter, it does not mean they have been selected as a that Selected Entrant, and they may not be invited to participate in the On-Air Challenge and/or be awarded a Minor Prize or Major Prize (if applicable).
For the avoidance of doubt, Challengers must appear on air during the Promotion Period to be deemed a winner and awarded a Minor Prize or Major Prize (if applicable).
Entrants may submit as many entries as they wish however each entry must be submitted via a separate online entry form and must independently comply with these Terms of Entry.
For the avoidance of doubt, entrants may only win one prize each.
All valid entries will be individually judged by representatives of the Promoter by 10:00pm AEST on Friday 26th August at the Promoter’s premises to determine 5 winners. All valid entries will be judged based on the Judging Criteria. The winner will be notified in accordance with the Notification of Winners information set out below.
Each valid entry will be individually judged (by representatives of the Promoter) based on enthusiasm, creativity and uniqueness of online entry.
Major Prize
There are up to five (5) Major Prizes to be won, each comprising of a cash amount between AU$10 and AU$1,000 (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion)
For the avoidance of doubt, the cash amount awarded to each winner will depend upon the result of each On Air Challenge. The cash amount awarded to the Challenger is to the value of the last dollar amount announced on the Audio prior to the Challenger yelling out ‘stop’(as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion). If a Selected Entrant does not yell out ‘stop’ before the Audio finishes, that Selected Entrant will not receive a Major Prize.
Minor Prize
There are up to five (5) Minor Prizes to be won, comprising of:
1 x Scream Queens Season One DVD valued at up to $40 (inc GST) each.
For the avoidance of doubt, the total combined value of the Minor Prizes and Major Prize will not exceed all $5,000.

Winners will be notified:
- via telephone;
- on air at the time of winning; and
- on the Station Website,
by Friday 26th August, 2016.
Any winners of prizes valued at over $250 (inc GST) in the unclaimed prize draw will be published in The Australian on Monday 29th August, 2016.
